LAMBAT INTERNAL AFFAIRS | June Board of Directors Meeting

Behind every successful chapter is a Board willing to have the difficult conversations.

Immediately following our June General Membership Meeting on June 30, 2026, the JCI Subic Lambat Board of Directors convened for a strategic Board Meeting through our official Discord Membership Server to discuss matters requiring leadership deliberation and decisive action.

The meeting focused on sensitive organizational concerns, chapter governance, committee updates, and the final strategic preparations for the upcoming AREACON Bidding deadlines. As leaders of the chapter, the Board worked collaboratively to evaluate priorities, strengthen internal operations, and ensure that every decision remains aligned with JCI Subic Lambat’s mission, values, and long-term direction.

More than planning for competitions, the meeting reflected our commitment to responsible leadership, transparency, and accountability. Every discussion, every decision, and every shared responsibility contributes to building a stronger organization capable of delivering sustainable impact to the communities we serve.

Last June 30, 2026, JCI Subic Lambat successfully conducted its June General Membership Meeting through our official Discord Membership Server, bringing together our Board of Directors and members as we entered one of the most crucial periods of the year, the final preparations for our AREACON Bidding.

The meeting focused on chapter updates, organizational priorities, committee progress, and aligning every member behind our shared vision as we prepare to showcase JCI Subic Lambat on the regional stage. It was a reminder that behind every successful bid is a united chapter committed to excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Despite meeting virtually, the energy, participation, and commitment of every Lambat member reflected what truly defines our chapter, leaders who continue to show up, collaborate, and support one another in pursuit of creating greater impact.

LAMBAT INTERNAL AFFAIRS | April General Membership Meeting

Building stronger leaders. Strengthening one JCI family.

Last April 10, 2026, JCI Subic Lambat successfully conducted its April General Membership Meeting as part of our Pre-Induction Activities, bringing together our Board of Directors, members, and visiting delegates from our sister chapters across the Philippines.

The gathering served as more than a regular GMM. It became an opportunity to build meaningful friendships, exchange best practices, and strengthen the bonds that unite us as one organization. Through a series of leadership and skills development sessions, members gained valuable insights while preparing for an exciting year of service and impact.

One of the highlights of the event was our Twinning Fellowship, where JCI Subic Lambat welcomed our sister chapters to foster collaboration, share experiences, and create future opportunities for joint projects that will benefit our communities.

As we continue our ExtraorDANary Journey, every meeting reminds us that leadership grows through learning, collaboration, and genuine connections. Together, we are building a chapter that is not only stronger today but more prepared to create sustainable positive change tomorrow.

LAMBAT INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT | Co-Hosting “Slay the Pitch” at the 2nd Central Luzon Regional Council Meeting

JCI Subic Lambat proudly participated in the 2nd Central Luzon Regional Council Meeting, hosted by JCI Bataan on June 28, 2026, while also serving as one of the co-host chapters of the highly anticipated capacity-building session, “Slay the Pitch: Storytelling FTW in Bids.”

The training was facilitated by 2026 JCI Philippines National Treasurer JC Lim of JCI Angeles Culiat, equipping participants with practical strategies in award writing, impactful storytelling, and presenting community projects with clarity and purpose, essential skills as Local Organizations prepare for the upcoming Temiong and National Awards.

In recognition of JCI Subic Lambat’s valuable contribution and collaborative efforts as a co-host, the chapter was awarded a Certificate of Participation, presented by 2026 Regional Skills Development Director Phillip Justin R. Samonte and 2026 Regional Vice President Ervine Carla T. Abesamis.

Representing JCI Subic Lambat were 2026 President Dandex Matuguinas, Central Luzon Regional Skills Development Director Phillip Justin R. Samonte, Executive Vice President Reona Elicerio, Vice President for Internal Affairs Mavin Gamboa, and our newest member, Mina Balboa.

Beyond the training, the Regional Council Meeting served as a platform to strengthen collaboration among Central Luzon Local Organizations, exchange best practices, and reaffirm our shared commitment to creating sustainable impact through effective leadership and meaningful community action.

Our heartfelt appreciation to JCI Bataan for the warm hospitality, to National Treasurer JC Lim for an inspiring learning session, and to the Central Luzon Regional Leadership for continuously investing in the growth of our members.

Last April 29, 2026, JCI Subic Lambat proudly hosted the 2026 Monthly Regional Training of JCI Philippines - Central Luzon Region, featuring RSDD Warren Ronell Flores of JCI Cebu as our distinguished resource speaker.

Through his session, “Strengthening Membership for Sustainable Impact: Engage, Empower, Grow,” participants explored practical strategies on member recruitment, meaningful engagement, leadership development, and building a chapter culture where people don’t simply become members, but become future leaders.

As the host chapter, JCI Subic Lambat was honored to receive a Certificate of Participation in recognition of our support and commitment to strengthening leadership development across the region.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Central Luzon RSDD Phillip Justin Samonte, Regional Vice President Carla Abesamis, our inspiring speaker RSDD Warren Ronell Flores, our co-host chapters, and every participant who made this regional learning experience a success.

LAMBAT INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS | 2nd Regional Council Meeting

JCI Subic Lambat proudly participated in the 2nd Central Luzon Regional Council Meeting, hosted by JCI Bataan last June 28, 2026. The gathering brought together Regional Officers, Local Organization Presidents, and members from across Central Luzon to align regional priorities, strengthen collaboration, and equip chapters with strategies that will create greater impact in our communities.

Representing our chapter were 2026 President Dandex Matuguinas, together with Central Luzon Regional Skills Development Director (RSDD) Phillip Justin Samonte, alongside our dedicated delegates EVP Reona Elicerio, VP for Internal Affairs Mavin Gamboa, and our newest member, Mina Balboa.

The meeting featured Regional Council deliberations, leadership updates, and capacity-building sessions, including “Slay the Pitch,” where participants gained valuable insights on crafting compelling award bids, impactful storytelling, and effectively communicating project outcomes, skills that will further strengthen JCI Subic Lambat’s pursuit of excellence in the upcoming Temiong and National Awards.

Beyond the sessions, the Regional Council Meeting served as an opportunity to reconnect with fellow leaders, exchange best practices, and build stronger partnerships among chapters across Central Luzon.

🇯🇵 JCI ASPAC 2026 | NIIGATA, JAPAN 🇵🇭

JCI Subic Lambat proudly represented the Philippines at the 2026 JCI Asia-Pacific Conference (ASPAC) held in Niigata, Japan, bringing together thousands of young leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers from across the Asia-Pacific Region under the theme:

“Be the Change, For a Brighter Future.”

Representing our chapter were President Dandex Matuguinas and Immediate Past President Phillip Justin Samonte, who participated in leadership forums, international networking, business sessions, and meaningful exchanges of best practices with fellow JCI leaders from different countries. The conference provided opportunities to strengthen partnerships, discover innovative community solutions, and bring home fresh ideas that will benefit JCI Subic Lambat and the communities we serve.

One of the most meaningful experiences was connecting with Local Organization Presidents and JCI leaders from sister chapters across the Philippines, strengthening friendships and opening doors for future collaborations beyond our own chapter. Together, we continue building a stronger JCI Philippines through unity, shared learning, and collective action.

As we continue our ExtraorDANary Journey, every international experience reminds us that leadership knows no borders. The lessons learned, friendships built, and partnerships established in Niigata will inspire us to create greater impact back home in Subic, Zambales, and beyond.

This is only the beginning.

We return home not only inspired, but more committed to creating positive change through leadership, service, and collaboration.

🌍 INTERNATIONAL HUMAN DUTIES DAY

Protect the Planet.

Protecting our planet goes beyond planting trees. It also means protecting the wildlife that shares our roads, forests, and communities.

Through BANTAY-DAAN, JCI Subic Lambat, in collaboration with the MS Wildlife Science students of the University of the Philippines Los Baños, champions citizen science by documenting wildlife roadkills and transforming observations into data that supports biodiversity conservation, road safety, and science-based environmental solutions.

Every documented observation contributes to a better understanding of wildlife movement and helps shape future conservation efforts.

Today, let us remember that protecting nature is not only our responsibility, but our human duty.
