IBP BICOLANDIA REGIONAL LEGAL AID MISSION

Coming fresh from their 4th Regional Meeting in Irosin, IBP Bicolandia conducted the Regional Legal Aid Mission in the Municipality of Matnog on August 29, 2026 at the Matnog Municipal Hall. The mission covers lectures on the rights of women, solo parent, and urban poor and free legal consultation as well as affidavit drafting.

IBP Bicolandia would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the Municipality of Matnog headed by its Municipal Mayor Hon. Robert “Bobet” Lee Rodrigueza.
Special gratitude also to Hon. Councilor Atty. Junnar O. Garcia and the MSWDO for their assistance on the conduct of the mission.

Taking opportunity of the time, the delegation went to the famous pink sand beach of Calintaan Island, Matnog Sorsogon known as “Subic”. Residents of the island had the chance to also consult with the lawyers of Bicolandia.

IBP BICOLANDIA 4th REGIONAL MEETING

IBP Bicolandia successfully held its 4th Regional Meeting in Nature Hot Spring Resort, Monbon, Irosin, Province of Sorsogon last August 28, 2026. The meeting was hosted by the IBP Sorsogon Chapter with the support of LGU-Irosin through the leadership of Hon. Catalina Grace B. Hamor.

The event was attended by the Chapter Officers of IBP Bicolandia namely: IBP Albay, IBP Camarines Norte, IBP Camarines Sur, IBP Catanduanes, IBP Masbate and IBP Sorsogon and was presided over by the IBP Governor for Bicolandia and National Executive Vice-President Atty. Randall C. Tabayoyong.

A message was also given by Hon. Hamor through the Municipal Administrator of LGU-Irosin, Chino E. Franche, RSW.

This is a historic activity for IBP Sorsogon since this is the first time that an event hosted by the Chapter has been held outside the City proper which solidifies the fact that the Province of Sorsogon is both a convention and tourism hub.

The meeting also became an avenue to establish future partnerships between the IBP and LGU-Irosin and the Province of Sorsogon.
