FACE Builds
Steadfast in the child-centered approach, in FACE, we value the voices of children. Our programs are planned on what and how children perceive their problems and how they wish to be assisted. We believe in the capacity of the community and much of our services are delivered through the initiatives of children, parents and community. Their participation enable us to continually explore avenues of assistance that will help children face the future. We support and deliver quality programs for children that focus on:
1. Safety and security
3. Education and learning
4. Improvement of psychosocial welfare
5. Capacity building for children, parents and communities

When WOMEN Build, Learning Finds a Home.

This , be inspired by the story of four extraordinary women who transformed their vision into a vibrant learning haven for children. Through their dedication and compassion, they built a Supervised Neighborhood Play (SNP) space, planting the seeds of hope, learning, and brighter futures in their community’s youngest learners.

Thank you, ChildFund Philippines, for helping make all of this possible!

Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) and Positive Development Training for primary caregivers from select barangay leaders in the municipalities of Castilla, Donsol Sorsogon and Manito Albay. This activity aims to strengthen the capacity of individuals who play a vital role in children’s lives by equipping them with practical knowledge, tools, and strategies to support children’s mental health, emotional well-being, and positive development, particularly in the context of emergencies and disasters. This will help expand the reach of MHPSS awareness and ensure that more individuals are equipped to support children’s mental health and well-being during emergencies.

Recognizing these individuals serve as frontliners in safeguarding children during emergencies, the training highlights their critical role in providing immediate care, protection, and stability in times of crisis. As primary caregivers and trusted figures, they are well positioned to identify signs of distress among children, provide psychological first aid, and create safe and supportive environments that promote healing and recovery.

Ultimately, this training contributes to building safer and more responsive communities where children are not only protected from harm but are also empowered to recover, adapt, and thrive despite challenging circumstances. MHPSS-PDT is a key activity of Project RECEIVE (Resilient Education in Emergencies for Children's Empowerment and Vital Education) funded by Educo Philippines.
