OFFICIAL ADVISORY: RUN AND JAM FOR YOUTH AND CLIMATE 2026 RESCHEDULED
In view of the State of Calamity currently declared in the Province of Sorsogon due to the ongoing oil crisis, and considering its significant impact on transportation systems, logistics, and public safety, the Local Government, in coordination with event organizers, formally announces the rescheduling of Run and Jam for Youth and Climate 2026.
Originally scheduled for May 10, 2026, the event will now be held on October 31, 2026.
This decision was made following careful consultation and assessment of prevailing conditions, with primary consideration given to the safety, accessibility, and welfare of all participants, volunteers, stakeholders, and affected communities.
While we understand that this adjustment may cause inconvenience, this measure reflects our commitment to responsible governance and to protecting public welfare during this period of crisis.
Sustaining Our Shared Mission
Run and Jam for Youth and Climate remains a vital initiative that advances key community development goals, including:
• Youth empowerment and leadership development
• Climate awareness and environmental responsibility
• Support for the establishment of a Teen Center as a safe and inclusive youth space
• Community resilience, solidarity, and recovery
This postponement does not diminish our commitment. Rather, it ensures that the event can be implemented more safely, effectively, and inclusively under improved circumstances.
Together, we will continue to move forward in the service of our youth, our communities, and our shared climate future.
• All registrations, tickets sold, sponsorship agreements, and partnerships remain valid.
We sincerely thank all participants, sponsors, partner organizations, volunteers, and community members for your understanding, cooperation, and continued support.
As we navigate these challenging times, collective resilience, responsible action, and unified leadership remain essential.
Together, we will continue to move forward in the service of our youth, our communities, and our shared climate future.
