: THE LONGEST IN HISTORY

Traslacion 2026 started exactly at 3:59 AM on January 9 and continues today, January 10, at 3:30 AM, after almost 24 hours of the faithful journey toward Quiapo Church. The image of Jesus Nazareno slowly makes its way back, on track to become the longest Traslacion in history.

The previous record was held by the 2012 Traslacion, which lasted around 22 hours and 14 minutes. Perhaps, this year’s procession reflects the unwavering faith and devotion of the Filipino people.
