As part of the onboarding orientation of newly hired employees, Tam-an BMPC conducted a Gender Sensitivity Training (GST) led by GAD Chairperson Ms. Belen Bandao assisted by GAD Member Mx Joseph Pinkihan on August 7, 2026, at the BOD Hall, Tam-an Mt. Resort & Hotel, Busilac, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.

The session emphasized the importance of understanding gender perspectives, promoting respect and inclusivity, and creating a workplace where everyone is given equal opportunities to participate, grow, and lead.

Gender Sensitivity Training is one way to achieve greater leadership opportunities through gender mainstreaming. By integrating gender-responsive perspectives into organizational policies, programs, and practices, we help build an environment where every individualโ€”regardless of genderโ€”can realize their potential and contribute meaningfully to the organization.

Through this initiative, Tam-an BMPC continues to strengthen its commitment to gender-responsive, inclusive, and empowering workplaces.

Held under the theme of the Department of Education (DepEd) "Sa Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN):๐’๐š๐ฆ๐š-๐ฌ๐š๐ฆ๐š ๐ฌ๐š ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฒ๐จ๐ง๐  ๐’๐š๐ฉ๐š๐ญ ๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐š ๐ฌ๐š ๐‹๐š๐ก๐š๐ญ!"

Opening activities included remarks from School Head ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐‘๐จ๐›๐ž๐ซ๐ญ ๐‰. ๐€๐ง๐œ๐ก๐ž๐ญ๐š. Further highlighting the importance of community collaboration, ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐ƒ๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ๐ ๐’. ๐‚๐š๐ฅ๐ฆ๐š, District In-Charge of Alfonso Castaรฑeda, delivered an encouraging message to the students, faculty, and organizers. They were joined by key GAD Committee Officers, headed by ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐ง ๐๐š๐ง๐๐š๐จ, GAD Chairperson, along with GAD Committee members and Senior Tam-an English Corner ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐’๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐š๐ญ๐จ๐ง๐ , ๐‹๐๐“ and Youth Cordinators headed by Senior Youth Coorditor ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐‰๐จ๐ง๐š๐ข๐ฌ๐ก๐š ๐Œ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐๐ž๐ฅ and team.
