🌿 Project PEAT Successfully Launched! 🌿

Through the initiative of Mrs. Ana Norynyl R. Clemor, YES-O Adviser and proponent of the project, Solano High School proudly launched Project PEAT (Promoting Ecological Action through Transformation of Waste into Compost Pit and Vermicast for Reducing School Waste) on September 18, 2025.

The event was made more meaningful with the support of our school principal, Dr. Trinidad B. Logan, and representatives from the Department of Agriculture – Nueva Vizcaya Experiment Station, Mr. Erwin Acob and Mr. Joey Angoan, who shared their expertise in vermicomposting.

This milestone reflects our shared commitment to environmental stewardship, proving that with dedication, teamwork, and awareness, we can transform simple actions into lasting impact for a greener and more sustainable school community.

Hats off to the eco-champions of PASIKLABAN PARA SA PROYEKTONG MAKAKALIKASAN!

In celebration of Environmental Awareness Education Month at People's Hall, Capitol, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, Presidents Jen V. Mingaracal of YES-O and Shelley Allyson D. Gavina of SSLG , guided by coaches Karen Ann C. Gregorio and Gerome R. Rogel, have secured an impressive 140,000 pesos for Project BADU. The said project aims to upcycle old T-shirts into EcoBags.

Special thanks to the Department Head of Science, Ma'am Irene G. Lorenzo, School Head Dr. Trinidad B. Logan , and PSDS Dr. Cesario C. Mariano for their invaluable guidance on this impactful journey. Cheers to a greener future!

LOOK || Supreme Student Learner Government (SSLG) together with the Youth for Encironment Schoools Organization (YES-O) conducted a clean-up drive around the school campus with the theme "Clean together, thrive together" earlier today. This is part of the regular undertaking of YES-O in maintaining the cleanliness inside and the surroundings of the school, including public and common areas in the community.
