Review from the past sermon: โDesigned with a purpose of servingโ
God created us with a purposeโto serve Him; He has chosen and handpicked us for His glory, and serving Him is our original designed purpose
HE ALWAYS MAKES A WAY FOR US TO COMPREHEND HIS DESIRE
Tabernacle= Egypt's ceremonial and military tents
Arc of the covenant= (Egyptian)coffin: substitutes body
God used cultural imagery familiar to the Israelites to speak with them, this comparative studies shows us that God chose to used imagery that already symbolized issues of the divine to the Israelite but He rearranged it to reveal Himself.
He didn't expect to use His language right away instead He spoke to the in theirs.
1Corinthians 10:31
31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
PROSKUNEล
Proskuneo- toward, to kiss
pros = "toward"
kyneล = "to kiss
- to bow down, prostrate oneself, or kiss the hand toward someone in a sign of profound respect, submission, and homage
- to give special honor
- Proskuneล describes worship expressed through reverence, surrender, and submission to God. It is a posture of the heart that willingly yields to God and seeks what glorifies Him
- A heartโs posture of a genuine worship
- It described the ancient custom of bowing and even kissing the hand or feet of a king as a sign of reverence, signifying that you are under His authority and committed to doing His will
PROPER POSTURE OF WORSHIP; SUBMITTING TO GOD'S AUTHORITY AND WILL
We must understand the posture of worship because there is no genuine service without a proper heart of worship; true service flows from a heart that first bows before and honors God
HOW TO SERVE; HOW TO SERVE?
1. KNOWING THE WILL OF GOD
2. BY READING HIS WORD:
3. EXAMINE YOUR SITUATION IN LIGHT OF SCRIPTURE
4. AND FOLLOW WHAT THE WORD OF THE LORD TEACHES

Colossians 1:16
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and โfor Himโ
Romans 11:36
For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
Romans 14:8
8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
HE ALWAYS MAKES A WAY FOR US TO COMPREHEND HIS DESIRE
The Lord shows us His will for serving Him in a way that is clear and understandable, something we already know and recognize as something we ought to do
โHe didn't expect them to use His language right away; instead, He spoke to them in theirsโ. (greatest purpose of serving: reflect His Glory Inside and outside)
HE ALWAYS MAKES A WAY FOR US TO COMPREHEND HIS DESIRE
Serving God is a lifestyle: knowing His will everyday
Knowing the will of God will eliminate all unnecessary customs and rituals (Matt 25, Jam 1:27)
It cancels the unbiblical concept of serving โServing the Lord is more difficultโ (Matt 11:28-30)
