The Philippine Red Cross - Siquijor Chapter informs the public of the updated maximum blood service fees, effective April 5, 2026.
As a Non-Government Organization (NGO) Blood Service Facility, these adjustments are implemented to ensure the safety, quality, and sustainability of blood services by:
πCovers increasing operational costs including donor recruitment, collection, testing for TTIs (HIV, Syphilis, Malaria, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C), and storage
πMaintains high standards of blood safety and quality
πEnsures continuous availability of safe blood for those in need
This advisory is in accordance with the Department of Health (DOH) Administrative Order No. 2026-0003, issued on March 6, 2026, and duly published in The Philippine Star on March 21, 2026.
The collection of any fee other than the approved Blood Service Fee is strictly prohibited.
