The Philippine Red Cross - Siquijor Chapter informs the public of the updated maximum blood service fees, effective April 5, 2026.

As a Non-Government Organization (NGO) Blood Service Facility, these adjustments are implemented to ensure the safety, quality, and sustainability of blood services by:
📍Covers increasing operational costs including donor recruitment, collection, testing for TTIs (HIV, Syphilis, Malaria, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C), and storage
📍Maintains high standards of blood safety and quality
📍Ensures continuous availability of safe blood for those in need

This advisory is in accordance with the Department of Health (DOH) Administrative Order No. 2026-0003, issued on March 6, 2026, and duly published in The Philippine Star on March 21, 2026.

The collection of any fee other than the approved Blood Service Fee is strictly prohibited.

The Municipal Health Office of Larena, in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross – Siquijor, will conduct a Mobile Blood Donation Drive on January 22, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN, at the Larena Primary Care Facility.

All eligible and willing individuals are encouraged to participate. Voluntary blood donation is essential in ensuring the availability of blood for patients in need of emergency care and medical treatment.

The Municipal Health Office invites the public to support this activity and contribute to this life-saving initiative.
