Today, we celebrate World Environment Day by recognizing our shared responsibility to protect and preserve the environment for future generations. Every small action, whether reducing waste, planting trees, conserving water, or keeping our surroundings clean, contributes to a healthier and greener planet.

Here are the newly elected set of officers of the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) of Camindangan National High School for the school year 2026-2027.

Being a YES-O officer is more than a title. It means leading by example, serving with honesty, and promoting care for the environment in our school and the whole community. Each officer helps turn small actions into meaningful change, showing that change starts with us.

📢 Announcement: Cleanliness and Proper Waste Segregation

In order to maintain a clean and healthy school environment, all Junior and Senior High School students are advised to help pick up trash and practice proper waste segregation in our campus.

Starting March 16, 2026, every grade level is assigned to collect and segregate waste not only in their assigned areas but in the whole school community. Please make sure that all trash is placed in the proper bins:

Biodegradable – food waste, leaves and other materials that can naturally decompose

Non-biodegradable – plastic wrappers, plastic sachets, candy wrappers and other materials that do not easily decompose

Recyclable – bottles, cans, clean paper, cartons

Please note that all collected non-biodegradable wastes will be placed in the trash bin outside the school gate for easy collection by the city trash collector.

Let us all practice discipline, cooperation and responsibility in making proper waste segregation a daily habit. In doing so, we help keep our school clean, safe, and environmentally friendly.
