Patuloy na isinusulong ng Philippine Red Cross Laguna Chapter - Siniloan Branch ang adbokasiya nito sa kalusugan sa pamamagitan ng Health and Hygiene Promotion sa mga paaralan, na layong mapalakas ang kaalaman at kamalayan ng mga mag-aaral hinggil sa pag-iwas sa sakit.

Nakarating ang programa sa Bagong Pook Elementary School, kung saan 113 na mag-aaral ang nabigyan ng mahahalagang impormasyon tungkol sa kalusugan at personal na kalinisan. Bilang bahagi ng suporta ng Philippine Red Cross, 113 facemask at 113 IEC leaflets ukol sa Ubo at Sipon ang ipinamahagi sa mga mag-aaral.

Isinagawa rin ang aktibidad sa Talangka Elementary School, Santa Maria, Laguna, kung saan 196 na mag-aaral ang aktibong nakilahok at natuto tungkol sa bakuna, dengue, ubo at sipon, at tamang paghuhugas ng kamay. Upang higit na maprotektahan ang mga bata at mapalalim ang kanilang kaalaman, 150 piraso ng facemask at 128 IEC leaflets ukol sa Ubo at Sipon at Bakuna ang naipamahagi.

Ang mga gawaing ito ay patunay ng patuloy na dedikasyon ng Philippine Red Cross sa pagbibigay-proteksyon, at kaalaman. Sama-sama, para sa mas ligtas, mas handa, at mas malusog na komunidad.

Isinagawa ng Philippine Red Cross Laguna Chapter noong Disyembre 19, 2025 ang isang Community Outreach Activity sa Brgy. Tungkod, Sitio Pulong Mindanao, Sta. Maria, Lagunaβ€”isang lugar na may limitadong akses sa mga pangunahing serbisyo. Sa kabila ng hamon ng lokasyon, tinawid ng mga kawani ng PRC Laguna Chapter ang siyam (9) na bahagi ng ilog at naglakad ng mahigit isa’t kalahating oras upang personal na maihatid ang mga kinakailangang serbisyo sa komunidad.

Sa nasabing aktibidad, naipamahagi ang 100 'food packs' para sa mga pamilya at g**o, kabilang ang 100 'packs' ng bigas bilang suporta sa kanilang pang-araw-araw na pangangailangan. Nagsagawa rin ng 'health and hygiene promotion' na dinaluhan ng 61 bata, kasabay ng pamamahagi ng 100 'hygiene kits' upang mapalakas ang kaalaman at kamalayan sa kalinisan at kalusugan. Namahagi rin ng mga school supplies para sa 61 mag-aaral mula Grade 1 hanggang Grade 6 bilang tulong sa kanilang pag-aaral. Bukod dito, naisakatuparan ang 'medical consultation' para sa 45 indibidwal, 'blood typing' para sa 38 benepisyaryo, at 'Psychological Support' (PSP) na nilahukan ng 26 na katao. Isinagawa rin ang turn-over ng isang 32-inch 'flat screen TV' para sa Pulong Mindanao Elementary School bilang suporta sa mas epektibo at makabagong pagtuturo.

Patuloy ang Philippine Red Cross Laguna Chapter sa pagtupad ng misyong maghatid ng serbisyong makatao, malasakit, at pag-asa sa mga komunidad na higit na nangangailangan.

In observance of World Polio Day, the Philippine Red Cross Laguna Chapter – Siniloan Branch conducted a health promotion activity and distribution of information leaflets to residents of Barangays Damayan, Banaba, and Bagong Pag-asa, Famy, Laguna.

This initiative aims to educate communities about polio prevention and the importance of immunization, supporting the global campaign to eradicate polio once and for all.
