Empowering Communities Through Law: ULAS 2026 ⚖️🏛️
Justice was brought closer to the people as the Silang and Upland Lawyers Group actively participated in the Unified Legal Aid Service (ULAS), held last April 13, 2026, at the Carmona Community Center (C3).

Under the banner of OCLO CARES (Organizing Citizens for Legal Orientation: Community Assistance and Rights Education Services), our dedicated volunteer lawyers joined forces with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) - Cavite Chapter and the Local Government Unit of Carmona City to provide free legal consultations and rights education to the community.

It was an inspiring day of service, ensuring that every citizen—regardless of status—has access to the legal guidance they deserve.

Last March 12, 2026, the Silang and Upland Lawyers Group was honored to join the IBP Cavite Chapter in celebrating Magallanes Day through meaningful service and systemic change.

The day was marked by two significant milestones:

The "LODI" Launch: The Municipality of Magallanes and IBP Cavite officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the Legal Officer Desk Initiative (LODI)—a program designed to institutionalize legal support at the local level.

Community Service: Our volunteer lawyers provided Free Legal Consultations and Notarial Services to the residents of Magallanes, bringing the law closer to the people.

We salute the Municipality of Magallanes for their commitment to legal empowerment. Together, we are making justice more accessible for every Caviteño! 🏛️✨

Our Year-End and Christmas Party was a day to remember, filled with good food and even better conversation, and games, proving that lawyers can be just as competitive in a parlor game as they are in court!

On December 12, 2025, the Silang and Upland Lawyers Group, in partnership with the IBP Cavite Chapter and Kid’s Lab, spent a meaningful day with the community of Sitio Paraiso, Lalaan 1.

Our mission was simple, to provide support for the present and hope for the future. 🤝

Legal Empowerment: Providing free legal advice to residents to help navigate their concerns.

Holiday Cheer: A special gift-giving activity that brought smiles and early Christmas magic to the children.

On October 10, 2025, the lawyers of the Silang and Upland Lawyers Group traveled to Bailen to conduct back-to-back legal seminars on Katarungang Pambarangay and Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC). Silang and Upland Lawyers Group Holds Dual Legal Seminars in Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, Cavite

On October 10, 2025, the Silang and Upland Lawyers Group, in partnership with the Municipality of Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo and the IBP Cavite Chapter, successfully conducted two simultaneous legal seminars aimed at promoting legal awareness and community empowerment in the municipality of Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo (formerly Bailen), Cavite.

Seminar 1: "Katarungan sa Barangay: Pundasyon sa Mapayapang Bailen"

The first seminar, “Katarungan sa Barangay: Pundasyon sa Mapayapang Bailen,” was attended by Barangay Captains and Barangay Secretaries across Bailen. The session focused on the Katarungang Pambarangay system and its crucial role in fostering grassroots justice and local dispute resolution.
The following legal professionals served as resource speakers:

Atty. Aimee Leaban
Atty. Bingle Talatala
Atty. Realyn Anacan

They discussed the framework, purpose, and processes of the Katarungang Pambarangay. Meanwhile, Atty. Christian Delos Reyes delivered an insightful talk on one of the most common issues faced at the barangay level — the collection of unpaid debts.

Seminar 2: Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC)

Held concurrently, the second seminar tackled the pressing issue of Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC). It was attended by members of Bailen’s women’s organizations, led by Mayora Arnelyn Glean.

Key speakers for the VAWC seminar were:

Fiscal Gee B. Rosanes

They discussed the legal remedies and support systems available to victims of VAWC, as well as the responsibilities of law enforcers and local officials in handling such cases.

The Silang and Upland Lawyers Group extends its deepest gratitude to Mayor Dennis Glean, Mrs. Arnelyn Glean, Vice Mayor Louel Golfo, Municipal Councilor Fe Edith Oronico, Ms. Jermiluc De Castro-Gadon, Atty. Kevin A. Anarna, and IBP Cavite Chapter President Atty. Jessie Salvador for their invaluable participation and support in the success of this event.
