Working Together for Justice and Compassion!

The Silang and Upland Lawyers’ Group is proud to join the Nationwide Synchronized Jail Decongestion Activity—a flagship project led by the National Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) in partnership with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), and conducted simultaneously across all IBP Chapters nationwide.

In partnership with the IBP Cavite Chapter, we will be taking part in this simultaneous nationwide initiative to extend meaningful legal aid and help build a more humane, responsive, and efficient justice system.

Event Details:

Date: August 27, 2026 (Thursday)

Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Location: Silang Municipal Jail, Silang, Cavite

Together with our fellow legal practitioners across the country, we remain steadfast in our commitment to upholding the rights of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) through proactive case reviews and accessible legal representation.

Empowering Communities Through Law: ULAS 2026 ⚖️🏛️
Justice was brought closer to the people as the Silang and Upland Lawyers Group actively participated in the Unified Legal Aid Service (ULAS), held last April 13, 2026, at the Carmona Community Center (C3).

Under the banner of OCLO CARES (Organizing Citizens for Legal Orientation: Community Assistance and Rights Education Services), our dedicated volunteer lawyers joined forces with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) - Cavite Chapter and the Local Government Unit of Carmona City to provide free legal consultations and rights education to the community.

It was an inspiring day of service, ensuring that every citizen—regardless of status—has access to the legal guidance they deserve.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this event a success! Together, we continue to uphold the rule of law and serve the people with integrity and compassion. 🤝💼

Last March 12, 2026, the Silang and Upland Lawyers Group was honored to join the IBP Cavite Chapter in celebrating Magallanes Day through meaningful service and systemic change.

The day was marked by two significant milestones:

The "LODI" Launch: The Municipality of Magallanes and IBP Cavite officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the Legal Officer Desk Initiative (LODI)—a program designed to institutionalize legal support at the local level.

Community Service: Our volunteer lawyers provided Free Legal Consultations and Notarial Services to the residents of Magallanes, bringing the law closer to the people.

We salute the Municipality of Magallanes for their commitment to legal empowerment. Together, we are making justice more accessible for every Caviteño! 🏛️✨

This landmark event marks the beginning of a province-wide mission to bring legal services directly to every city and municipality in Cavite. We are honored to be part of this initiative, ensuring that no Caviteño is left behind when it comes to legal empowerment and access to justice. 🏛️

Last December 12, 2025, the Silang and Upland Lawyers Group traded their barong and blazers for holiday cheer!

Our Year-End and Christmas Party was a day to remember, filled with good food and even better conversation, and games, proving that lawyers can be just as competitive in a parlor game as they are in court!

On December 12, 2025, the Silang and Upland Lawyers Group, in partnership with the IBP Cavite Chapter and Kid’s Lab, spent a meaningful day with the community of Sitio Paraiso, Lalaan 1.

Our mission was simple, to provide support for the present and hope for the future. 🤝

Legal Empowerment: Providing free legal advice to residents to help navigate their concerns.

Holiday Cheer: A special gift-giving activity that brought smiles and early Christmas magic to the children.

It was an honor to serve our neighbors in Silang. Seeing the community come together reminds us why we do what we do!
