Ronald Fullerton
1942 – 2026
Silang, Cavite, Philippines – Ronald Fullerton, 83, a man known for his generous heart, sharp mind, and lifelong devotion to his beloved Red Sox, peacefully passed away on March 25, 2026—the birthday of his daughter, Tania. He was lovingly surrounded by the family he cherished most in his final moments.
Born and raised in South Portland, Maine, Ron carried his roots with pride, but in 1964, found a second home in the Philippines, where he built a life filled with purpose, love, and service.
Roots and Family
Ronald was the son of the late George and Arlene Fullerton and was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Fullerton. He is survived by his sister, Donna, with whom he shared many treasured memories of their New England upbringing.
Above all, Ronald was a deeply devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is lovingly remembered by his beautiful and steadfast wife, Lita Fullerton, his partner through a lifetime of adventures and shared purpose. He also leaves behind his children: Karen (Tom), Tania (Dennis), and Mark (Maki); and his four beloved grandchildren: Ian, Gavin, Michaela, and Mason, who brought him endless joy and pride.
From Maine to Manila
Ronald’s journey carried him from the shores of Maine to Manila, where he built a successful career in the computer industry. Through hard work, determination, and vision, he eventually established his own company. Yet, his greatest accomplishments were not measured in business success, but in the lives he uplifted along the way.
In retirement, Ronald embraced a new and meaningful chapter. He dedicated himself wholeheartedly to Chosen Children Village, a special-needs orphanage founded by his wife in 1988. There, he faithfully served the children as a guiding presence and father figure while teaching them to read, write, and speak English, giving them hope and opportunities for a brighter future.
A Life of Service and Joy
Ronald served his community with quiet strength and dedication, including his roles as President of the Rotary Club and Worshipful Master of a Masonic Lodge. He lived a life grounded in service, compassion, and integrity.
And no matter how far away from Fenway Park, his love for the Red Sox never faded. He followed every game, every player, and every season with excitement, eagerly looking forward to the 2026 opening day, a loyal fan to the very end.
Services and Remembrances
Ronald will be cremated, and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held at the Chosen Children Chapel in Silang, Cavite, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Ronald’s memory to Chosen Children Village Foundation: www.chosenchildrenvillage.com
