The DHS Girl Scouts together with their Titas paid tribute to Josefa Llanes Escoda, the founder of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines, through a meaningful ceremony in her honor. DHS Girl Scouts embraced the spirit of service as they prepared and shared bowls of champorado with students and members of the community. ๐Ÿ’š This initiative was more than just giving foodโ€”it was about extending kindness, showing compassion, and living out the Girl Scout Promise of helping others at all times. With every serving of champorado came a smile, a warm gesture of care, and a reminder that small acts of generosity can create a big impact. Through this activity, the scouts demonstrated that true service is not measured by how much we give, but by the love and sincerity with which we give it. ๐Ÿฒโœจ

On September 17, 2025, DHS Girl Scouts actively took part in celebrating Environment Day with a campus clean-up drive. Armed with sacks and a spirit of service, our scouts worked hand in hand to make the school surroundings cleaner and greener. ๐Ÿ’š This activity was not only about tidying up, but also about living out the Girl Scout values of responsibility, care for the environment, and community service. On July 12, 2025, a dedicated DHS Cadet Girl Scout, Ashley Cacho attended the Chief Girl Scout Medal Scheme Orientation held at the Bohol Girl Scout Council in Tagbilaran City. She was joined by two former DHS Girl Scouts, Cadet Garell Baja and Cadet Edsell Baja. Their presence served as a shining example of commitment, resilience, and the lasting impact of the Chief Girl Scout Medal Schemeโ€”the highest award a Girl Scout can achieve.
