5:00AM Bulletin: Typhoon Inday is currently in the Philipine Sea (Benham Rise) and is moving slowly northwestward at 15km/h. Signal #1 is hoisted over the Ilocos and Cagayan regions. It is expected to exit the Philipine Area of Responsibility (PAR) at 2:00PM of July 11 (Saturday).

Forecast track of Super Typhoon Bavi. It will enter the PAR in the morning of Wednesday July 8 and will be named ST Inday. Although it is not expected to make landfall in the Philippine landmass, ST Inday (Bavi) will enhance the monsoon which might lead to heavy rains, thunderstorms, possible flashfloods and landslides.

Silliman University is now declared safe after a bomb threat situation yesterday night, July 6. An unknown person sent the threat around 10:00am through email. Authorities sweeped the buildings which were targeted by the threat last night. The clearing operations will continue for the entire campus today. The lockdown is already lifted but classes and work are placed on online mode and work-from-home arrangements today July 7.
