To be salt of the earth and light to the world for you, Jesus🫶
2. SALT STINGS.

If salt stays in the jar and never touches the meat, it cannot preserve anything. If salt stays in the jar and never touches the food, it cannot give flavor.
In the same way, our faith cannot stay only inside the church. It must touch our homes, our workplaces, our friendships, and our choices.
If salt loses its taste, it becomes useless. We lose our “saltiness” when we become indifferent, when we stop caring, when we live our faith only inside the church but not in our daily lives.
But salt also has a warning. It also has a cost: It stings when rubbed on wounds.
Doing what is right is sometimes uncomfortable. Standing for truth can hurt.
But, still, "You are the salt of the world."
