𝗸𝗮𝘀𝗨𝗯𝗔𝘆, 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗨𝗔-𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿𝘀!!!

UA-Red Antbassadors conducted its Skills Enhancement Training for student ambassadors held at the Innovation Laboratory on November 23-24.

During the discussion, Mr. Risty Clint Aquito, the organization's adviser, shares critical information that will be used by the ambassadors to help the university to cross-cultural activities. On the other hand, Prof. Shella S. Sandoy of the UA Cultural Unit expresses her enthusiasm and gratitude for the group's commitment.

The organization also elected and appointed its new officers, as well as drafted its constitution and bylaws. In addition, former UA-Red Antbassadors President Angel Danya Paparo spoke about her time with the organization and how it impacted her current work.

UA-Red Antbassadors is an organization that was founded with the goal of fostering meaningful cross-cultural interaction both locally and internationally. Continuing its mission of bridging cultural gaps, promoting mutual understanding, and valuing diversity.

On August 6, 2024, a remarkable collaboration took place as the University of Antique (UA) once again opened its doors to welcome the esteemed Daegu University (DU) Avengers for the highly anticipated STEAM Camp 2024 at the prestigious Busalian Hall.

Dr. Daniel Cha, the Vice Dean of the DU College of Education, and Ms. Jang Dayeong, a dedicated Teacher Assistant, along with a cohort of 12 passionate education students representing various programs, joined forces with UA and the Department of Education (Dep-Ed) Antique to create an impactful partnership.

The film collaboration between Daegu University in South Korea and the University of Antique's BA Communication 3 students was more than just an academic project - it was an experience that resulted in lasting friendships.

The journey from virtual meetings to finally meeting in person was incredibly fulfilling for everyone involved.

This is it! 3rd STEAM CAMP.

Today marked the beginning of an exciting journey as participants from Daegu University embarked on their visit to the University of Antique for the STEAM CAMP 2024. Over the next two weeks, the Daegu Avengers will engage in a series of innovative and interactive activities, including visits to local elementary schools in Sibalom.

Present in the opening program are Daegu’s representatives, Dr. Daniel Cha, Vice Dean of the College of Education, Jang Dayeong, College Staff and the 12 Education students, officials, staff and students of the University of Antique, and the representatives of the partner schools in Sibalom District.

This collaborative effort represents the third time these institutions have come together in pursuit of internationalization, showcasing their dedication to fostering global connections and knowledge exchange.

Another moment to look forward!

UA-DU is brewing something again, Kasubays!

University of Antique (UA) and Daegu University (DU) engaged in an exploratory meeting regarding the upcoming Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Culture, and Mathematics (STEAM) Camp, today, June 5.

This year’s STEAM Camp which will run from August 6 – 15, is already on its fourth year after it was launched last February 2022.

Dr. Jeongho Cha, DU- Vice-Dean of College of Education, and Ms. Dayeong Jang, DU Delegates Lead represented DU in a virtual meeting held through zoom platform. While Dr. Jelyn O. Alentajan, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Runato A. Basañes, Exec. Director for Student Affairs, Services and Development, Dr. Grace C. Pastolero, Dean of College of Teacher Education, Prof. Jennelyn A. Omadio, Director for International Affairs Unit (IAFF), Mr. Jhay S. Luces, International Academics Coordinator – IAU, Prof. Mark Joseph T. Reyes, CTE - IZN Coordinator, and Ms. Iyen S. Bautista, IAFF Staff, represented UA.
