BSNED 1A successfully conducted its Case Study Presentation for their subject SNED 6 (Education Assessment of Children with Additional Needs). Throughout the activity, students confidently presented their case studies and demonstrated their understanding of the concepts, strategies, and interventions discussed in class.

The event served as an opportunity for students to apply their knowledge while developing their presentation, communication, and critical-thinking skills. Although some areas for improvement were identified, the experience provided valuable lessons that will help students grow academically and professionally.

Their subject professor, Dr. Roxanne F. Diana, expressed appreciation for the time, hard work, and dedication shown by the students during the preparation and presentation process.

The class also extends its sincere gratitude to the panelists sir Excell Daguinotan, maโ€™am Kristal Joy Sacay, sir Jan Ronhel Encarnacion and maโ€™am Katherine Arceรฑa. Their expertise and guidance greatly enriched the learning experience and encouraged students to continuously improve their work.

Towards the end of the program, the winners of the Best Presenter and Best Instructional Materials Presentation awards were announced. These recognitions celebrated the outstanding performance, creativity, and excellence demonstrated by the students during the presentations.

The final phase of the Search for the Best BSNED Teacher Intern 2026 has successfully concluded.

Our sincere appreciation to the interview panel, Sir Jan Ronhel F. Encarnacion and Maโ€™am Katherine S. Arceรฑa, and Dr. Roxanne F. Diana, BSNED program head for sharing their time, expertise, and valuable insights throughout the selection process.

Congratulations to all the finalists Romwil John Ardamal, Mikaella Trisha Espaรฑola, Ma Paulyn Geronimo, and Neneth Angeline Sarapanan, for your courage, dedication, and outstanding performance. Through every phase of the competition, you have demonstrated the passion, competence, and professionalism expected of future teachers.

The 2nd Screening for the Search for the Best BSNED Teacher Intern 2026 was successfully conducted today. Four courageous and outstanding teacher interns showcased their knowledge, skills, and passion for teaching: Romwil John Ardamal, Mikaella Espaรฑola, Neneth Angeline Sarapanan, and Ma. Paulyn Geronimo.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our distinguished critic teachers who served as judges during the demonstration teaching: Sir Jan Ronhel F. Encarnacion and Mrs. Katherine S. Arceรฑa from the University of Antique, as well as Mrs. Daisy Abacajen and Mrs. Angelie Mamaril from Sibalom Central School, DepEd. Their expertise, insights, and constructive feedback greatly contributed to the success of this screening activity.

The demonstration teaching sessions became even more engaging and dynamic with the participation of the BSNED 2nd Year and 3rd Year students, who enthusiastically served as learners during the presentations. Thank you as well for helping facilitate this event and for being there to witness this memorable milestone in the journey of our teacher interns.

First Phase of Screening for the Search for the Best BSNED Teacher Intern 2026

The journey to becoming the Best BSNED Teacher Intern 2026 has officially begun!

As part of the first phase of the screening process, the finalists drew lots to determine their assigned teaching topics and were given three (3) hours to develop a detailed lesson plan. To ensure authenticity, fairness, and a true demonstration of their pedagogical knowledge and skills, the use of mobile devices, gadgets, reference materials, and pre-prepared lesson plans was strictly prohibited throughout the activity.

The completed lesson plans will be carefully evaluated and critiqued using a lesson planning rubric by a panel of evaluators from different teacher education programs.

This challenging task tested the finalistsโ€™ mastery of content, instructional planning, creativity, and ability to design meaningful learning experiences under time constraints.

The competition continues with the Demonstration Teaching phase on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM at GeB 104.
