We proudly present the newly elected District 2 Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Officers, a group of dedicated student leaders committed to promoting a drug-free, safe, and positive environment in our schools and community. With passion, responsibility, and teamwork, they aim to inspire their fellow youth to make healthy choices and stand strong against illegal drugs. Together, they lead with purpose and serve as role models for a better and brighter future.

Leadership begins with a choice to stand for what is right.
Last February 24, 2025, Siaton National High School successfully conducted its Barkada Kontra Droga Elections—empowering students to take an active role in advocating for a drug-free and healthy environment. This meaningful event marked another important step in strengthening our commitment to a safe, disciplined, and drug-free campus.

PROTEKTAHAN ANG KAUGMAON—AYAW SUGOT NGA MADAOT TUNGOD SA DROGA UG PAGPANG-ABUSO.

The SNHS BKD, alongside the Siaton PNP, led a joint initiative promoting student safety and responsible decision-making. This time, the Siaton PNP conducted an informative lecture for Junior High School Grade 7 – Antonio.

The session covered important topics such as Anti-Bullying, the harmful effects of illegal drugs, and RA 7610 (Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination). These discussions aim to guide students in making safe and responsible choices while raising awareness about the dangers of drugs, bullying, and abuse.

This initiative also strengthens the support system among the school, the community, and the PNP in safeguarding the youth’s well-being and future. With the united efforts of the school, community, and law enforcement, we move forward with one shared goal: guiding every young learner toward a future free from harm.

Siaton II District proudly takes part in the SIGASIG Kabataan: Youth Leadership in Action Against Drugs seminar held on December 10, 2025 at Hotel Palwa, Dumaguete.
Present in the activity were District Federated SSLG President Divine A. Quio, District Federated BKD President Cyrus Gael Kibete, and District BKD Coordinator Sir Dennis L. Tradio, who represented the district with pride and dedication.

The sessions covered important topics such as the effects of drugs and the legal responsibilities of youth leaders and school personnel when handling drug-related incidents. Through these discussions, the delegation gained deeper knowledge, stronger awareness, and a renewed commitment to promoting a safe and drug-free environment in their schools and communities.

As youth leaders, we believe that “an informed mind becomes a powerful voice for change.” With the insights gained from the seminar, Siaton II District stands even more ready to lead, advocate, and inspire positive action for the future. 💙✨💪
