Rhinos are not unicorns, but they might vanish like myths if we donโ€™t act now.

๐Ÿฆ Did you know? Rhinos are ancient animals โ€” theyโ€™ve roamed the Earth for over 50 million years.

Today we mark the World Rhino Day! The day, which falls every September 22 each year, is a day dedicated to raising awareness and mobilizing support towards the protection of rhinos. The day advances global collaboration, anti-poaching efforts, and education to avoid extinction of the species.

Being the last generation, we can ensure that the rhinos do not get extinct. If they were to become extinct, it would disturb a series of ecosystems that rely on them. Rather than our sympathy, rhinos require our action, protection, and resolve.

"Extinction is forever, protection is now."

โ€œGive our planet a rest, at least for one day.โ€

๐ŸŒ Did you know? Air pollution from emissions causes 7 million premature deaths every year according to the World Health Organization.

Today, we celebrate the Zero Emission Day! The day calls on people to pause and reflect by reducing activities that cause carbon emissions, such as unnecessary driving, heavy electricity use, and overconsumption.

We canโ€™t afford to treat clean air and a stable climate as luxuries โ€” they are necessities. Every ton of carbon we cut, every small action we take, buys us time against the climate crisis. The Earth doesnโ€™t need us to save it for one day; it needs us to change every day.

"If not now, then when? If not us, then who?"

Don't let our beaches look like a trashy reality show.

๐ŸŒŠ Did you know? Every year, over 8 million tons of plastic enter our ocean?

Today, we celebrate the International Coastal Clean Up Day! A coastal clean-up drive is a voluntary event in which individuals collect and document debris from beaches, rivers, lakes, and waterways to protect the environment and raise awareness of marine pollution.

Let's band together and do our part to save our seas. We are getting closer to healthier marine life, cleaner beaches, and a more sustainable future for future generations with each piece of trash we collect. Our environment can be positively impacted for a long time by the small act of service we perform today.

"Every bottle we collect is a step we take, we'll make a change"

HORANGHAE~! ๐Ÿฏ

๐Ÿ…Did you know? Tigers are the largest wild cats in the world, known for their striking orange and black stripes, unique hunting skills, and solitary nature!

Today, on July 29, we celebrate Tiger Day, which highlights the delicate balance between humans and tigers. As their population has declined and they are now considered an endangered species, we must all learn about and support tiger conservation.

This day gently reminds us that our connection with these majestic beasts runs deeper than we may have ever imagined. Although some humans are responsible for the decline in tiger population, many wildlife enthusiasts are doing their best to make the world habitable for our tigers โ€” and we hope that youโ€™ll be one of them.

Letโ€™s keep it โ€œaju niceโ€ for our tigers!

โ€œWe donโ€™t inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children.โ€-David Brower

๐ŸŒฑDid you know? World Nature Conservation Day is believed to have originated in 1998 in Stockholm, Sweden. It was created to raise awareness about the human impact on the environment and to encourage people around the world to take action and make a difference.

Celebrated annually on July 28, World Nature Conservation Day is a global reminder of the importance of protecting our planetโ€™s natural resourcesโ€”such as water, soil, forests, and wildlife. These resources are vital not only for our survival today but also for the well-being of future generations.

We can all make a difference by refusing to use single-use plastics, planting trees, cutting back on waste, and conserving water. Little things like recycling or choosing to walk rather than drive can make a big difference in protecting our planet. Let's assume accountability and be the generation that protects the environment every day, not only today.

โ€œEvery micro effort creates a macro impact on nature."

โ€œAng mangrove, di kailangang sumigaw para mapansin. Ang tanong: kailan ka makikinig?โ€(over naman sa ask)

๐ŸŒฑDid you know? Mangroves protect our coastlines from storms, serve as nurseries for fish, and absorb more carbon than most forests!

This International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystems, we honor the unsung heroes of our coastlines. Mangroves protect biodiversity, shield communities from storms, and combat climate change.

Letโ€™s deepen awareness, spark action, and commit to safeguarding these vital ecosystemsโ€”because protecting mangroves means protecting our future. Their roots may stand quietโ€”but their impact echoes far and wide.

"Kung walang bakawan, walang kinabukasan."
