Campus Glimpse celebrates the journey of our former and present campus journalists as they reunite at the 2026 National Schools Press Conference at Ormoc, City.

From then to now, they still carry the values shaped by the publication and carry the same passion for truth and storytelling.

Beyond the awards and recognition, itโ€™s the growth, resilience, and character theyโ€™ve built along the way that truly define their success.

Once a Campus Glimpse, always a legacy. ๐Ÿ’š

Not every childhood looks the same - some are shaped by responsibilities far beyond their years.

Meet one of our Grade 10 students - the eldest among the four Alcober siblings. He carries a role he never asked for but chose to embrace. In a home marked by a broken family, he became more than just a brother. With no parents around, the four of them now live on their own, relying on each other to get through each day.

In this 9th episode of Campus Tales, we tell a story not just of struggle, but of love that takes responsibility, and strength that chooses to stay.

As Campus Glimpse continues to share stories that matter, may this remind us to look closer because sometimes, the quietest lives carry the heaviest weight.

๐Ÿ“ŒDISCLAIMER: This documentary was created and produced by Special Program in Journalism Grade 10 students to highlight real-life experiences within our community. It aims to inform and inspire, NOT to exploit or harm the siblings. We honor the dignity and story of our featured student and his family and hope this narrative fosters empathy and understanding.

On this Black Saturday, a moment of quiet reflection and renewal, letโ€™s pause and step into a story shaped by identity, purpose, and the courage to lead.

Meet one of our proud alumnus from F. Bangoy National High School โ€” now serving as the student body president of a respected college in Davao City. Behind this achievement is a story rooted in heritage.

Though born with ties to the Ata tribe, he grew up in the city. But in time, he chose to look back, embracing his roots and finding purpose in representing his people.

In this 8th episode of Campus Tales, we uncover a journey of rediscovery - where leadership becomes service. As he partners with the local government unit and empowers his community, he becomes a voice that bridges heritage and progress.

As Campus Glimpse continues to tell stories that matter, may this episode inspire us to honor our roots, embrace our identity, and use our voices to uplift others.

Before we scroll past another ordinary day, letโ€™s pause and dive into a story that goes beyond what meets the eye.

Meet one of our Muslim students from F. Bangoy National High School - a young individual whose reality begins where the waters run deep. While others see coins tossed from ferry passengers as a simple act, for him, it is a source of hope, a test of courage, and a way of helping his family get through each day.

In this 7th episode of Campus Tales, we uncover the life beneath the waves - where every dive tells a story of resilience, sacrifice, and quiet determination. His journey reminds us that behind every small act is a bigger purpose, and behind every struggle is a strength worth recognizing.

As Campus Glimpse continues to tell stories that matter, may this episode open our eyes to realities we often overlook and inspire us to see beyond what is visible.

The beat dropsโ€ฆ and suddenly, everyoneโ€™s moving!

From the music of the south, "budots" has taken over the country even up to now - catchy, chaotic, and undeniably fun. From local fiestas, national TV shows, and even gaining recognition in other countries, this infectious beat has found its way into different platforms, making people groove wherever it is heard. But beyond the viral dance moves and looping beats, a story lies: one that traces back to the roots of the Badjao community.

In this latest docuseries episode, our campus journalists dive into the origins of the budots craze by uncovering its culture, its journey, and the voices behind the rhythm.

As Campus Glimpse returns after a long pause, weโ€™re bringing you a story thatโ€™s not just meant to entertain, but to inform, challenge, and make you move - both in thought and in rhythm.

Get ready to vibe, learn, and see "budots" in a whole new light.

Aiming to showcase and foster the diverse skills of student journalists across various fields in journalism, Campus Glimpse conducted its School-Based Press Conference (SBPC) at F. Bangoy NHS gymnasium on Saturday, September 6, 2025.

The event was open to all students and was tailored to nurture the broad talents of learners among different year levels in journalism, engaging them in a variety of competitions that were aimed not only at developing their skills but also at promoting ethical reporting.

"The importance of the school-based conference is to allow and give platforms to our student journalists, exposed themselves to what is really happening during the Division School Press Conference," SPJ coordinator Jestene Delos Reyes stated.

She added that it is high time to apply what the students have learned throughout the year, resulting in the top 5 journos bagging their triumphant win during the competition, which includes Lady Lador (Editorial Writing), Rhea Line Pusta (Feature Writing), Vic James Ticon (Sports Writing), Rhianne Tampos (News Writing), and Joan Florence Sarmiento (Photojournalism).

Furthermore, the yearly event has now already reached its fourth year of being conducted under the guidance and initiatives of Campus Glimpse, which has been enriching and deepening students' insights about journalism ever since it started.
