[2nd DAY of CARES Training]

Hulyo 26, 2026 – Kinatawan ni JM Roxas, miyembro ng Bagong Kabataan ng Sto. Cristo (BAKAS), ang aming organisasyon sa ikalawang araw ng Community Action for Resiliency and Emergency Support (CARES) Training na ginanap sa New Municipal Hall ng Sariaya.

Dumalo ang MDRRMO, PNP, BFP, at LYDO upang talakayin ang disaster preparedness, emergency response, at community resilience. Layunin ng pagsasanay na palakasin ang kahandaan ng bawat isa at ng buong komunidad sa harap ng sakuna.

[BAKAS Joins LYDC Reorganization 2026]

Kahapon July 17, matagumpay na nakiisa ang BAKAS sa LYDC Reorganization na ginanap sa ABC Hall, Municipality of Sariaya, kasama ang iba't ibang youth organizations tulad ng Proyekto Daloy, Sariaya Youth Movement, Rotaract Sariaya, RCYC-Sariaya, at iba pang youth organizations sa ating bayan.

Pinangunahan ni Mr. Amerson Aguinaldo ang talakayan tungkol sa Bridging Leadership, na nakatuon sa tatlong mahahalagang prinsipyo: Ownership (pag-ako sa sarili, problema, at solusyon), Co-ownership, at Co-creation. Binigyang-diin din ang kahalagahan ng collaboration, communication, connection, at teamwork sa pagpapalakas ng Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) at Youth Organizations Registration Program (YORP).

Tinalakay rin ang functions and contributions ng LYDC, ang 10 Centers of Youth Participation, at ang mga probisyon ng Republic Act No. 10742 (Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act), kabilang ang youth age classifications: 15–17 (child youth), core youth, at young adults hanggang 30 taong gulang. Ipinaliwanag din ang qualifications, registration, at election process para sa mga magiging miyembro ng LYDC.

Ibinahagi rin ang mga benepisyo ng pagiging rehistradong organisasyon sa YORP, tulad ng paggamit ng YORP Seal, pagiging prayoridad sa mga programa at oportunidad, access sa exclusive trainings, aktibong partisipasyon sa LYDC, at mas malawak na pagpapalaganap ng mga youth initiatives.

Samantala, ipinakilala naman ni Ma’am Clarice Coronel ang SK Web Portal at ang SK Learning Management System (SK LMS) User Guide, na magsisilbing mahalagang digital platform para sa patuloy na pagkatuto at mas episyenteng pamamahala ng mga youth leaders.

Higit pa sa mga naging talakayan, naging makabuluhan rin ang mga interactive activities na isinagawa sa programa. Sa pamamagitan ng mga ito, mas napalalim ang koneksyon at samahan ng bawat youth organization, nagkaroon ng mas bukas na komunikasyon, at mas tumibay ang diwa ng pagkakaisa at pagtutulungan para sa iisang layunin—ang patuloy na pag-unlad ng kabataang Sariaya.

Lubos ang aming pasasalamat kay LYDC Officer Sir Reniel Martizana sa kanyang pangunguna at patuloy na suporta sa pagpapalakas ng youth participation at youth empowerment sa ating bayan.

[PROJECT BAKAOne X THE GAS by SSCSP-Quezon and KPK]

Bilang pakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng World Environment Month, buong puso na nakilahok ang Bagong Kabataan ng Sto. Cristo (BAKAS) sa Project BAKAOne na ginanap ngayong araw sa Barangay Castañas, Sariaya, Quezon.

Kasama ang iba't ibang organisasyon, ahensya ng pamahalaan, at mga kapwa kabataan, sama-sama tayong nagtanim ng mga mangrove bilang hakbang sa pangangalaga ng ating baybayin, pagprotekta sa kalikasan, at pagbawas sa panganib ng pagbaha. Naging bahagi rin tayo sa The GAS (Green Awakening Seminar) na nagbigay ng mas malalim na kaalaman tungkol sa ating responsibilidad bilang mga tagapangalaga ng kapaligiran.

Lubos ang aming pasasalamat sa Kabataan Para sa Kalikasan (KPK) sa pag-oorganisa ng makabuluhang programang ito, gayundin sa MENRO-Sariaya, LYDO-Sariaya, Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Castañas, Supreme Student Council Society of the Philippines – Quezon Chapter, Philippine Air Force, Gising na Bayan, at sa lahat ng iba pang organisasyon at indibidwal na nakiisa at sumuporta.

Hindi lamang tayo nagtanim ng mangrove—nagtanim din tayo ng pag-asa para sa isang mas ligtas, mas luntian, at mas matatag na kinabukasan.

HAPPY WORLD ENVIRONMENT MONTH, KPK! 💚🍃

Hatid sa atin ng Supreme Student Council Society of the Philippines- Quezon Chapter, MENRO- Sariaya at Kabataan Para sa Kalikasan, inaanyayahan namin ang lahat na makiisa sa Project BAKAOne kung saan ang mga kabataan ay magtatanim ng mangrove na makakatulong upang maprotektaha ang ating baybayin at komunidad laban sa baha at pagkasira ng kalikasan.

Magkakaroon din tayo ng The GAS o Green Awakening Seminar para mas maunawaan pa natin kung paano pangalagaan ang ating kapaligiran.

Tara na at maging bahagi ng solusyon! Gaganapin ito sa June 27, 2026, 6:00 ng umaga sa Barangay Castañas, Sariaya, Quezon.

MGA DAPAT DALHIN:
• Tubig (tumbler)
• Towel
• Extra shirts
• Gloves

PAALALA:
• Magsuot ng kumportableng damit at tsinelas
• Iwasan magdala ng plastic bottles

Hindi kaya ng isa lang ang pagprotekta sa ating baybayin pero kung sama-sama tayong mga kabataan, mas malakas ang epekto ng ating gawa. 🌿

🌱 [IN ACTION: PROJECT PAMANA VERDE: Punla ng Kalikasan, Yaman ng Kinabukasan] 🌱

May mga pagbabagong nagsisimula sa maliliit na hakbang—at ngayon, isa na naman tayong hakbang palapit sa mas luntiang kinabukasan.

Kahapon, Hunyo 21, 2026, matagumpay na naisagawa ang Project Pamana Verde sa tulong ng mga kabataang naglaan ng kanilang oras, lakas, at dedikasyon para sa kalikasan.

Sa bawat punlang naitanim, hindi lamang tayo nagdagdag ng puno sa ating kapaligiran. Nagtanim din tayo ng pag-asa, pagkakaisa, at responsibilidad para sa susunod na henerasyon.

Maraming salamat sa lahat ng nakiisa at sumuporta sa proyektong ito. Sa lahat ng bumubuo ng Sangguniang Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan ng Brgy. Sto. Cristo, maraming salamat sa inyong walang sawang pag-suporta sa ganitong uri ng aktibidad. Sa CENRO at MENRO-Sariaya na nag-hatid ng suporta sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng mga punla, maraming salamat po.

Ang inyong pakikilahok ay patunay na ang mga kabataan ay may kakayahang maging bahagi ng positibong pagbabago sa ating komunidad.

Hindi man agad makita ang bunga ng ating mga itinanim ngayon, darating ang panahon na ito ay magsisilbing buhay na pamana para sa marami.

Isang puno. Isang layunin. Isang komunidad.
