𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐲: 𝐀 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 🇵🇭

Today, we look back on a defining chapter in the story of Panay Island—a time when courage, unity, and sacrifice paved the way to freedom. The Liberation of Panay is not just a moment in history, but a reminder of what people can achieve when they stand together for a greater purpose.

As recognized under Presidential Proclamation No. 430, series of 1989, issued by President Corazon Aquino, March 18 serves not only as a commemoration, but as a call to action. It challenges each of us—especially the youth—to take part in nation-building through meaningful service, responsible leadership, and active participation in our communities.

Freedom is not only something we remember—it is something we live out every day. May we continue to honor the legacy of our heroes by upholding the values they stood for: integrity, unity, and a deep commitment to the common good.

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 | 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗮

The Sangguniang Kabataan Municipal Federation of Sara (SKMF Sara) held its Monthly Meeting earlier today at 2:00 PM at the Liga ng mga Barangay Session Hall.

Key matters discussed include the finalization of the opening date of the Sulay Basya Cup 2026, a municipal youth sports initiative promoting unity, sportsmanship, and community engagement among the youth of the Municipality of Sara.

In line with the federation’s commitment to transparency and accountability, the official attendance of SK Chairpersons is also posted for documentation and public record.

The SK Municipal Federation held its February Monthly Regular Session today at 1:30 PM at the Liga ng mga Barangay Session Hall, with the attendance of SK Chairpersons from the different barangays of the municipality.

Apologies for the limited photos — the meeting was so focused and productive that we forgot to take more shots 😅 Some officials had already headed home before we realized it. Rest assured, everyone’s presence is duly recorded and appreciated.
