In line with our continuing mission to build a cleaner and greener school environment, San Vicente Integrated School officially implements the No Use of Plastics policy across the campus starting on Monday.

This initiative, led by the school administration and student organizations like YES-O, encourages all students, teachers, and staff to bring their own reusable water bottles or tumblers to reduce plastic waste and promote sustainable habits.

By saying goodbye to single-use plastics such as cups, straws, and plastic bags, we are taking a strong step towards creating a school culture grounded in environmental care, personal discipline, and collective responsibility. ♻️🌍

This movement doesn’t stop with policy — it begins with action.
Let us be the change. Start with your own tumbler today.

In a strong move towards promoting environmental responsibility, the YES-O Officers, in partnership with other school organizations started the Clean-Up Drive at San Vicente Integrated School. This activity served as a call for action to all students and staff to take part in keeping the school environment clean and green.

As part of our advocacy, students were required to bring one sock each to be used for cleaning purposes—an innovative and sustainable alternative to disposable cleaning tools. The activity also strictly enforced a "No Use of Plastics" policy to reduce waste and promote eco-friendly habits among the youth.

Another key part of the drive was the practice of proper waste segregation. Students were taught to separate waste into biodegradable, non-biodegradable, and recyclable materials—turning the clean-up into a learning experience as well.

This initiative reflects the school’s commitment to environmental care, with YES-O leading the way in making positive changes through student action and shared responsibility. 🌍♻️💚
