Due to the recently issued memorandum from the Municipality of Malasiqui regarding Energy Conservation Measures, our Basketball & Volleyball League 2026 and SK Night are officially cancelled.

This directive aims to address the rising fuel costs and energy supply concerns. As part of this, all barangays are instructed to temporarily refrain from holding community gatherings such as fiestas, tournaments, and similar events to ensure proper and efficient use of energy.

We know how much effort, time, and excitement everyone has invested in preparing for these activities. It was meant to bring our community together, showcase talents, and strengthen camaraderie. However, we respect and fully support this decision for the greater good of our municipality.

We sincerely thank all players, SK officials, and supporters for your understanding and continued support. We hope for better opportunities to resume these events soon.

Section 1. Player Composition
1.1 Each team shall have three (3) mother players and three (3) youth players on the court at all times.

Section 2. Substitution Rule
2.1 Substitutions shall maintain the required player composition.
2.2 A mother player may only be substituted by another mother player.
2.3 A youth player may only be substituted by another youth player.

Category: Open Age

• Minimum 12 players, maximum 14 players per team
• On-court: 3 mother players & 3 youth players
• Substitutions must follow the player classification rule:
• A mother player may only be substituted by another mother player.
• A youth player may only be substituted by another youth player.

Registration Details:

• Teams must submit their official lineup within the registration period.
• The registration deadline is March 10, 2026

Late submissions will not be accepted.

• Kindly forward the jersey design to the SK Chairman to ensure that all players’ jerseys are produced by a single designated person or team.

Earlier today, our Cycling and Running Tournament was successfully held and filled with excitement, energy, and inspiring displays of determination. The athletes pushed their limits, demonstrated true sportsmanship, and proved that discipline and hard work lead to success.

This event was more than just a competition—it was a celebration of health, unity, and community spirit. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the cyclists and runners who participated, the dedicated organizers and volunteers, and the supportive crowd who cheered from start to finish.
