Dumalo ang mga SELG officers, kasama ang mga teaching at non-teaching personnel, sa isang Seminar on Fire Preparedness and Safety bilang bahagi ng Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Training noong Disyembre 2, 2025. Ang aktibidad ay ginanap sa Multi-Purpose Room ng Baloc Elementary School, Baloc, Sto. Domingo, Nueva Ecija.
Pinangunahan ni Jace Ackilez De Guzman, SELG President, ang paglahok ng mga estudyante sa naturang pagsasanay na layong palakasin ang kaalaman at kahandaan ng komunidad sa pagharap sa mga emergency, partikular na sa insidente ng sunog.
Nagsilbing tagapagsalita mula sa Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) โ€“ Sto. Domingo District sina FO3 Israel G. Salazar at FO1 Wharent M. Fulgencio, na nagbahagi ng mahahalagang kaalaman ukol sa tamang pagresponde sa sunog, paglikas, paggamit ng fire extinguisher, at mga hakbang para maiwasan ang sunog sa paaralan at komunidad.
Mainit na tinanggap ng mga kalahok ang seminar na nagbigay-diin sa kahalagahan ng pagiging alerto, handa, at maalam sa panahon ng sakuna. Ang nasabing gawain ay nagpatibay sa layunin ng paaralan na mapanatiling ligtas at handa ang bawat mag-aaral at kawani sa anumang uri ng emerhensiya.

Today, we happily distributed Smiling Face Cards to our learners and teachers as a symbol of encouragement, positivity, and emotional support. Through this small gesture, we aim to promote kindness, connection, and mental well-being in our school community. ๐Ÿซถ

Because every smile matters and every mind deserves care. ๐ŸŒป

In celebration of Mental Health Awareness Week 2025, our SELG officers proudly participated in the Mental Health Awareness Booth Activities that promote well-being, kindness, and emotional resilience among learners.

Through this initiative, our young leaders helped encourage their fellow students to:

โœ… Choose kindness every day
โœ… Take care of their emotional and mental well-being
โœ… Support friends who may be struggling
