🇵🇭 128th ARAW NG KALAYAAN: Pagpupugay sa Watawat ng Lahi!

A historical and meaningful celebration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day was successfully held at the Santiago City Hall Ground Historical Park, where our very own Boy Scouts of the BSP Santiago City Council took the lead in the official ceremonies. The event was gracefully spearheaded by our BSP Council Scout Executive, Joseph E. Aggabao, ALT, alongside our dedicated City Mayor, Atty. Alyssa Sheena P. Tan-Dy, CPA, and SDS Alfredo B. Gumaru Jr. They led the solemn ceremony of paying respect to the national flag, as well as the sacred ritual of the Flag Retirement in strict accordance with the laws of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 8491).

Our young leaders and defenders of freedom showcased an exceptional level of discipline and nationalism inside the historical park. The Explorer, Pathfinder, Outdoorsman, and Venturer Scouts of the BSP Santiago City Council actively took part and rendered their duty to the nation during this momentous occasion. They were also guided and supported by the honorable Woodbadge Holders of the BSP Santiago City Council, who continuously dedicate their time to molding the next generation of exemplary leaders.

Freedom is not just a memory of the past, but a continuous responsibility kept alive by the youth of today. We salute all of you for your dedication, our brothers in Scouting! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas! Mabuhay ang Santiago City! 🇵🇭⚜️
