A journey of 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑, 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆, and 𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒕𝒉 𝒃𝒆𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝒍𝒊𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒔!

Last October 9–11, 2026, Trinidad V. Canja–Sta. Teresa National High School (TVC-STNHS) proudly participated in the first-ever Regional Learners’ Convergence 2026: Lead4Nation, held at Kapis Mansions, Barangay Banica, Roxas City, Capiz.

Representing our beloved institution were 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐆. 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐚, Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) President, and 𝐍𝐞𝐢𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐒𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐨, YES-O Club President, who joined fellow student leaders and learner representatives from across the region in a meaningful three-day gathering dedicated to empowering the youth and strengthening student leadership.

Anchored in the theme “𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑩𝒆𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝑳𝒊𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒔, 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑩𝒆𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒆𝒍𝒇, 𝑻𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑩𝒆𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒔,” the convergence served as a valuable avenue for student leaders to broaden their perspectives, deepen their understanding of responsible leadership, and recognize the significant role of young people in creating positive change in their schools and communities.

Throughout the three-day event, the participants engaged in insightful sessions that highlighted the importance of 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒑𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑, 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒚, 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆, 𝒂𝒅𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚, and 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔. Through the discussions and learning activities, they were reminded that leadership goes beyond holding a position—it is about embracing responsibility, empowering others, and making a meaningful difference through one’s actions.

The sessions, “𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏 𝑩𝒆𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝑳𝒊𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒔: 𝑪𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑮𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒕𝒉 𝑻𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈,” “𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝑩𝒆𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒆𝒍𝒇: 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑷𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆, 𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑶𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔,” and “𝑻𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑩𝒆𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒔: 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑨𝒅𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚,” emphasized that becoming an effective leader requires a willingness to learn, the courage to face challenges, and the heart to serve others. The financial literacy session also underscored the importance of making informed decisions and developing responsible financial habits—essential life skills for young leaders preparing for the future.

Beyond the plenary sessions, the convergence provided opportunities for fellowship, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas among learner-leaders from different schools and communities. The community immersion and tree-planting activity further emphasized the importance of environmental stewardship, collective responsibility, and active participation in building a sustainable future.

More than just an assembly of student leaders, Lead4Nation became a reminder that every learner has the potential to inspire, every challenge offers an opportunity to grow, and every act of service can create a lasting impact. It reinforced the belief that the youth are not merely the leaders of tomorrow but active contributors to meaningful change today.

"LAGAW TA KAUPOD ANG ESTADISTIKA!"

This poster shows how using statistics can help improve and boost tourism in Western Visayas and across the entire Philippines. By combining travel with real data, we can plan better trips, protect our heritage, and create stronger local communities.

At the center of the design, you can see two main figures standing side by side. One person represents the explorer who is eager to travel and discover new sights. The other person represents the guide who relies on numbers, facts, and statistics to make smart decisions. Where these two figures meet, a bright and warm yellow light glows. This light shows that when we combine exploration with good data, we bring clear benefits to our tourism industry. It helps promote local businesses, preserves our rich culture, and keeps our tourist spots safe and beautiful for future visitors.

On the upper section of the poster, a bright sun shines over several famous landmarks from around Western Visayas. Behind this scene, the map of the Philippines is visible. This setup highlights the unique beauty of our region while showing how it forms an essential part of our whole country as a large archipelago.

On the lower section of the poster, you will see a variety of visual statistical tools, such as bar graphs, pie charts, and simple diagrams. Along with these charts are visual examples of the actual positive results of using data in tourism. These results include finding simple solutions to common travel problems, creating new and innovative ideas for local events, improving local transportation, and supporting small business owners. Overall, the poster reminds us that when we use statistics as our guide, we can make tourism work better for everyone and help build a brighter future for our nation.

TEACHER, IKAW NAMAN! 🍎✨

Last Monday, October 5, 2026, Trinidad V. Canja–Sta. Teresa National High School, through the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), held the Teachers Appreciation Day as a sign of respect and gratitude to our teachers in celebration of World Teachers’ Day.

The program started with a Prayer for Teachers led by Princess Dagohoy (SSLG Secretary), followed by a Message of Appreciation from Cyb Aeyesha Wyll R. Tacdoro (SSLG Vice President). The celebration was also made more meaningful with a Special Song Number

Our School Principal III, Dr. Sarah D. Ganancial, also shared a meaningful message for our mentors. The event was emceed by Princess G. Vilalluna (SSLG President) and Niel Mark Sapio (YES-O President) as they welcomed the different departments for the photo opportunity and appreciation.

A special thanks goes out to all student clubs and organizations whose efforts and active involvement helped make this event a success!

The appreciation also reached the classroom level, as class officers and students gave gifts, cards, simple treats, and created meaningful memories for their advisers and subject teachers.

To all the TVC-STNHS teachers, after giving your best for us every day, ngayon, kayo naman! ❤️📚

BEYOND THE LESSONS, THERE ARE LIVES WE TOUCH.

A teacher's influence has never been confined to the lessons written on the board, the activities completed in class, or the grades reflected on a piece of paper. Sometimes, it is found in the encouragement given on difficult days, the patience extended through countless mistakes, and the little reminders that make students believe they are capable of more.

To our dear teachers, today is a celebration of the people behind every lesson learned and every potential realized. Thank you for choosing to guide, for continuing to inspire, and for making a difference in ways that may not always be seen but will never go unnoticed.
