WHEN THE RAIN COMES, WE CHOOSE TO SHOW UP. ❀️

For many families in Minalungao, the rainy season means more than quiet roads and fewer visitors. When tourism slows down, so do the opportunities to earn.

But in difficult seasons, compassion can become a source of hope.

Through the joint project of the Rotary E-Club of Nueva Ecija and Rotaract Club of Nueva Ecija, we came together to support mothers and children through maternal and child care kits, a feeding program, and meaningful community engagement.

This initiative was made possible through the leadership of:

When the visitors stop coming, what happens to the families who depend on them?

For many families in Minalungao, tourism is more than a destinationβ€”it is their livelihood. During the rainy season, fewer visitors can mean fewer opportunities to earn, making it even harder for families to provide for their loved ones.

That is why we chose to show up. ❀️

Through the joint initiative of the Rotary E-Club of Nueva Ecija and Rotaract Club of Nueva Ecija, we extended support through maternal and child care kits and a feeding program bringing not only essential assistance, but also a message of hope to mothers and children in the community.

Because service is not just about what we give.

Leadership grows when we choose to listen, learn, and lead with purpose.

On July 30, 2026, President David Benedick E. Cristobal of the Rotaract Club of Nueva Ecija joined fellow Rotaract leaders across District 3770 for the 2nd District Leaders’ Meeting, held virtually.

The meeting provided an opportunity to gain valuable insights, stay updated on district initiatives, and connect with fellow leaders as we continue building a stronger and more purposeful Rotary Year.

With discussions covering the DRR’s thrust, district plans, upcoming activities, club updates, and other important matters, the gathering reminded us that leadership is not simply about making plansβ€”it is about having the commitment to turn those plans into meaningful action.

As we move forward, we remain committed to leading with purpose, collaboration, and a heart for serviceβ€”creating opportunities that inspire our members and making an impact that reaches beyond our club.

On July 25, 2026, the Rotary E-Club of Nueva Ecija, in partnership with the Rotaract Club of Nueva Ecija and Million Trees Foundation, came together in Brgy. MalacaΓ±ang, Santa Rosa, Nueva Ecija for a meaningful Tree Planting Activity dedicated to protecting and preserving our environment.

This initiative reminds us that every tree planted is more than just a seedling in the groundβ€”it is a symbol of hope, resilience, and our shared commitment to creating a greener, healthier future for the generations to come.

Thank you to every volunteer, partner, and community member who took part in this initiative. Your time, effort, and passion continue to prove that when people unite for a common purpose, we can truly create lasting impact.
