WALANG PASOK bukas, Agosto 10, 2026, sa lahat ng antas ng pribado at pampublikong paaralan sa lalawigan ng Nueva Ecija dahil sa patuloy na pag-ulan na hatid ng Habagat.

Nakataas na rin ang Orange Rainfall Warning sa bayan ng Santa Rosa, na nangangahulugang may banta ng pagbaha, lalo na sa mga mababang lugar at sa mga kabahayang malapit sa sapa at ilog.

Ang suspensyon, na ipinatutupad sa ilalim ng Executive Order No. 22, Series of 2026, ay isang hakbang na pangkaligtasan bunsod ng patuloy na epekto ng Enhanced Southwest Monsoon o Habagat at ng inaasahang pagpapatuloy ng malalakas na pag-ulan sa lalawigan.

Batay sa mga Heavy Rainfall Warning na inilabas ng DOST-PAGASA mula Agosto 8 hanggang ngayong Agosto 9, ang ibaโ€™t ibang bahagi ng Nueva Ecija ay isinailalim sa ๐˜๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฐ, ๐Ž๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ž, ๐š๐ญ ๐‘๐ž๐ ๐–๐š๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‹๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฌ. Sa pinakahuling Heavy Rainfall Warning No. 34 na inilabas ngayong 11:00 AM, Agosto 9, ang mga bahagi ng lalawigan ay nasa Red, Orange, at Yellow Warning Levels.

Dagdag pa rito, sa konsultasyon sa Pampanga River Basin Flood Forecasting and Warning Center (PRFFWC) ngayong Agosto 9, ipinaabot na ang inaasahang lagay ng pag-ulan sa Nueva Ecija bukas, Agosto 10, ay maaaring magpatuloy sa kaparehong trend na naranasan noong Agosto 8 at 9, kabilang ang Yellow, Orange, at Red rainfall conditions.

Bilang pag-iingat, minarapat ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan na suspendihin ang mga klase upang mabawasan ang panganib dulot ng malakas na pag-ulan, posibleng pagbaha, at mapanganib na kondisyon sa pagbiyahe, at higit sa lahat upang mapangalagaan ang kaligtasan ng ating mga mag-aaral, g**o, magulang, at buong komunidad.

Hinihikayat ang lahat ng Novo Ecijanos na manatiling alerto, mag-ingat sa pagbiyahe, iwasan ang pagtawid o pagdaan sa mga lugar na binabaha, at patuloy na sumubaybay sa mga opisyal na abiso mula sa DOST-PAGASA, PRFFWC, PDRRMO, at mga lokal na awtoridad.

Ang rekomendasyon ay isinagawa dahil sa inaasahang patuloy na pag-ulan, posibilidad ng pagbaha sa mabababang lugar, at iba pang panganib na dulot ng Tropical Storm .

Pinapayuhan ang lahat na patuloy na magmonitor ng mga opisyal na abiso mula sa PAGASA at PDRRMO Nueva Ecija para sa mga susunod na update hinggil sa lagay ng panahon.

Ang rekomendasyong ito ay isinagawa bunsod ng inaasahang malalakas na pag-ulan dulot ng Tropical Depression at ng pinalakas na Habagat. Ayon sa PAGASA, nakataas ang Yellow Rainfall Warning sa lalawigan, habang patuloy ding minomonitor ang pagtaas ng lebel ng tubig sa mga pangunahing ilog at sapa sa Nueva Ecija.

Pinapayuhan ang lahat na manatiling maingat, iwasan ang mga lugar na maaaring bahain o magkaroon ng pagguho ng lupa, at sundin ang mga opisyal na abiso at paalala ng mga kinauukulang ahensya.
