Home is the first school. 𝐅𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐘 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐘.
In a world full of voices competing for our youth’s attention, children don't need more idols or influencers to follow—they need a GODLY FAMILY.
Ang mga bata ay natututo at nahuhubog sa kanilang kinalakihan—sa loob man o sa labas ng tahanan. They are shaped by the environment around them, by what they see, hear, and experience each day. Friends, teachers, social media, and society all play a role in influencing their character and worldview.
Yet God has entrusted parents with the primary responsibility of raising their children in the training and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). While parents cannot control every influence that their children encounter, they are called to build a strong spiritual foundation that will help their children discern truth and stand firm in their faith.
As we witness the heartbreaking rise of school violence incidents in the Philippines, may we be reminded that lasting change begins at home.
More than academic excellence, children need spiritual guidance.
More than success, they need godly character.
More than rules, they need to know and fear the Lord.
Let us be intentional in raising a generation that not only knows about Jesus but truly follows Him; a generation shaped by love, discipline, respect, and reverence for God.
