With the initiation of the Save Silang-Sta. Rosa River Foundation, on June 7, 2026, at Tree Museum Nuvali, Brgy. Canlubang, Calamba City, Laguna, different companies, universities and individuals united as Arbor Allies 2026 and planted 1,500 trees, together with our City Vice Mayor Arnold B. Arcillas.

Driven by one shared purpose—to plant trees for future generations—we took a meaningful step toward a greener, healthier, and more sustainable tomorrow.

Every tree planted today is a gift to future generations.

We will provide the seedlings. Kindly bring your own planting tools for the activity.

There is no water connection at the venue. Please bring your own water for handwashing and personal use.

Bring your own snacks and drinking water to stay hydrated throughout the event.

Wear your Silakbo shirt or any comfortable clothing, closed shoes, a hat/cap, and apply sunscreen and mosquito repellent for protection.

Street parking only. Please follow directional signages and the instructions of our marshals.

The Save Silang-Sta. Rosa River Foundation Inc. is a non-profit environmental organization dedicated to protecting and rehabilitating the Silang-Sta. Rosa River and its sub-watersheds. Through various environmental programs and community initiatives, S3R2 promotes sustainability, ecological awareness, and watershed conservation.

One of its flagship advocacy programs is SILAKBO — short for Sikad, Lakad, Takbo — an annual environmental event that brings together runners, bikers, walkers, and families to support the preservation of our rivers and natural resources. More than just a race, SILAKBO is a movement for a cleaner, greener, and healthier future.
