‎The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) of Labas Senior High School proudly celebrates a meaningful milestone as our school receives a Plaque of Recognition for the Outstanding Presentation of Best Environmental Practices during the Environmental Summit 2026.

‎This prestigious recognition was conferred during the GREEN Awards 2026 — 𝐆uaranteeing the 𝐑estoration of the 𝐄nvironment and our 𝐄cological 𝐍iche — through the City Government of Santa Rosa and the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO), under the leadership of Hon. Arlene B. Arcillas, City Mayor.

The 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘌𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭𝘴 𝘖𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 (𝘠𝘌𝘚-𝘖) 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘥𝘭𝘺 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘦-𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 organized by CENRO in partnership with DENR-PENRO Laguna 🌱. As part of this meaningful activity, we were grateful to receive free seedlings of 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐮𝐲𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐨—small trees that will one day provide cleaner air, food, and a healthier environment for our community.

Every tree we plant is a step toward protecting nature and inspiring others to become responsible stewards of the environment. Together, let's continue turning our commitment into action because today's seedlings are tomorrow's forests. 💚🌿
