𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 🌳

The Dangpanan Youth Organization actively participated in Tree Growing Activity held at Brgy. New Kawayan, Tacloban City as the 𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗠𝗢 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 led this activity in celebration 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟭𝟮𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝘆 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆. This meaningful initiative brought together community members and partner organizations to support environmental protection and promote a greener future.

Through this activity, the youth demonstrated their commitment to caring for the environment and helping build a more sustainable community. Their participation reflects the power of collective action and the important role of young people in preserving nature for future generations.

Together, we grow trees, nurture hope, and protect our planet. 💚🌏

𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗠𝗢 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿

In line with strengthening youth partnership and community-based peace initiatives, Lieutenant Colonel Felmax B. Lodriguito Jr., Acting Commanding Officer of the 8th Civil-Military Operations (Dangpanan) Battalion, engaged members of the Dangpanan Youth on February 14, 2026 during their 1st Quarter Meeting—one of his initial interactions with the organization since assuming command.

LTC Lodriguito underscored the vital role of the youth as partners of the army in promoting peace, development, and responsible citizenship, encouraging them to remain active in community service and nation-building. Also present was Mr. Cris Balmes, Regional Vice President of Youth for Peace Eastern Visayas, who served as resource speaker and adviser, emphasizing youth leadership, volunteerism, and peace advocacy in building resilient communities.

After the meeting, 8CMO personnel together with Dangpanan Youth brought smiles to the local community by giving flowers to civilians outside the camp, spreading appreciation, kindness, and the spirit of service beyond the military and youth organization.

This winning piece will now serve as the official Christmas jingle of the CMO Regiment.
