In 2018, a group of family and friends began a simple plan of aiding those in need, especially in Sta. After witnessing the joy on people's faces, the group chose to carry out their initial plan, extending support to the unfortunate. Since then, the group has continued to conduct charity initiatives in Bulacan and also taking a step to share kindness within nearby locations. They have successfully reached the homeless, sick, hungry, and victims of calamities carrying the mission of bringing change by the movement of starting the kindness within you. "D' Act of Kindness starts with you." 💙🤍

𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿.

Before we officially wrapped up our Day of Giving, we gathered everyone for one last photo, the kids, Willing Hearts staff and director, Lightwork Run Club members, and DAoK volunteers.

This day came together through many helping hands, from those who organized, donated, sponsored, prepared, coordinated, volunteered, and welcomed us, to everyone who simply gave their time and care.

To Lightwork Run Club, thank you for turning the purpose behind 𝟯𝟲𝟱 𝗥𝘂𝗻 𝟮.𝟬 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 into something that reached beyond the run.

To Willing Hearts Orphanage, Inc. Sta Maria, thank you for welcoming us and allowing us to spend the day with the kids.

And to everyone who became part of it in any way, MARAMING MARAMING SALAMAT. 🫶

For D’ Act of Kindness, we’re thankful to have been part of this initiative with 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗥𝘂𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 and to have helped in bringing the activity together.

We’re especially grateful for the time spent with the kids, listening to their stories, joining them in the activities, and simply enjoying the morning with them.

A group photo with the Lightwork Run Club members who helped make this day possible and spent the morning with the kids last September 12. 📸🫶

From organizing 𝟯𝟲𝟱 𝗥𝘂𝗻 𝟮.𝟬 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲, raising funds, and reaching out to sponsors and donors, to volunteering their time during the outreach, a lot of effort went into making this day happen.

What started with every step eventually reached the kids in many meaningful ways. 💙🩷

As our activities came to an end, we took a little time for some photos with the kids. 🫶

A little something to remember a morning filled with drawings, stories, laughter, food, and moments shared together.

𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱, 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆.

After the activities, it was time to enjoy some food and drinks and share a meal with the kids. 🫶

Nothing fancy, just a simple kainan filled with little conversations, smiles, and moments together.

Thank you to everyone whose support helped make this meal possible for the kids, staff, and volunteers. We’re grateful to have shared it together.

Just when we thought the activities were over, the kids had a little surprise for their Ates and Kuyas, a special performance they prepared for everyone. 🥹

It was such a simple and sweet moment, and seeing them enjoy themselves made it even more special.

Thank you, kids, for sharing your talents and making the day a little more memorable for all of us. 🫶
