True leadership is not found in being the loudest voice in the room, but in having the humility to serve others with the heart of Christ.

Stepping out, speaking up, taking initiative, and embodying Christ-like leadership wherever God calls us is not easy, and none of it goes unnoticed.

The laughter shared while doing household chores, the generosity and care shown at every meal, the genuine hearts poured out during devotions and Bible studies, the sense of responsibility demonstrated in every activity, and even the honesty and vulnerability that were met with accountability and affirmations were all seen, heard, and deeply valued.

To say that we are proud is an understatement.

Each YDA camper showed the kind of leader they are becoming: one who leads with humility, serves with love, and seeks God above all else. Beyond the potential and capabilities they displayed, what stood out most was their hunger and thirst to know Jesus more and to live out the purpose He has given them.

Wherever God leads you from here, may you have the courage to answer His calling with a willing heart. The world needs leaders who are not driven by recognition, but by obedience; leaders who are ready to serve, ready to surrender, and ready to say, “Here I am, Lord. Send me.”

Lead with compassion. Serve with passion. And may your life become a testimony that points others to the One you follow.

Because the most beautiful calling you can ever say yes to is the one that leads you to serve for the glory of God alone.

𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐑 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐈𝐌𝐎 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

With an echoing thoughts, fighting spirits, and rejoicing hearts, the YDA youths joined the Summer Youth Camp carrying an indescribable desire to know God through fellowship with others.

From games and adventures to bible studies and devotions; the youths poured their hearts out and expressed their ideas that didn’t just stayed in words but was really shown in their actions by how they actively participate in bible sharing, team activities, and group tasks.

But the most amazing part of it all was their personal encounter with the Lord. It was heartwarming to see each of the youths breaking down not in brokenness but in the love they felt from the Father—love that forgives, accepts, restores, and sustains.

* Just like the woman caught in adultery, we received no condemnation.
* Like Peter, we received forgiveness and restoration.
* Like the prodigal son, we are accepted wholly and celebrated for our return.
* Like the young Samuel, we are called and chosen.
* Like David, we are supported and strengthened by God in every battles.
* Like the five thousands, we are sustained and well provided by a God that is bigger than any situation.

So, to all the 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀, as children of God, live your life carrying all the lessons you have learned in this camp, and really embody the true essence of it. The blessings and revelations you have experienced in the camp won’t just be for you to live, but for others to see in you. Your life will be your living testimony of God’s goodness.

To the 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀, continue to lead with a servant heart, following Christ as your role model and imitating His love and compassion for others. Your effort, hard work, and dedication was seen and recognized by the Father and He is proud of all of you.

Truly, the Heaven is rejoicing over the souls of this youths.

Also, to the 𝗘𝗖𝗖𝗙 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆, we are beyond grateful for this opportunity that you have shared with us. Thank you for the warmth, friendship, and love that you extended with us. The 5-day camp was extra fun and meaningful through all of you!

And to the 𝗢𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗼 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, thank you for opening your door for the youths of Mataling-Ting. This camp made a great impact for them, and that won’t be possible without your support. With that, we are truly happy, blessed, and full of gratitude for this opportunity.

Lastly, to our beloved 𝗬𝗗𝗔 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀, thank you for your unwavering love, support, and guidance. You are with us from the very beginning, showing how is it like to love sacrificially and to serve with humility like Christ did. We hope we made you feel proud!

𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗗𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗢𝗣𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗚𝗢 𝗩𝗜𝗥𝗔𝗟, go sail because no enormous waves can make you away from the Father’s love, and as you continue living, always keep the fruit of the Holy Spirit in your heart, so that you may live a life that honors Him.

Our leaders-in-the-making were recognized and awarded for the leadership they displayed throughout the camp. After days of survival challenges, competition, teamwork, and unity, the results were finally revealed. James Red emerged as 1st Place, followed by Bright Lumens, Sibol, and Obedience. With the least number of demerit points, Obedience once again took the spotlight—rising from 4th place to Best Team.

We were also blessed to celebrate the birthday of our beloved SK Federation President, Hon. Angel Mangundayao, who chose to spend her special day with the YDA family at Rest to Farm. Truly a model of servant leadership, her presence was a blessing to everyone. We are also grateful for the raffle prizes she generously shared, which added joy to the celebration.

On the third day of the camp, campers went on an exciting treasure hunt adventure, guided by a compass. This activity was later connected to Christ and the Bible—our true guide in life. Just as a compass directs our path, God’s Word leads us; without it, we would be lost.

Through the activities, God also revealed Himself as a God of reconciliation, reminding us of His desire to restore hearts, relationships, and lives. The day ended with lessons that pointed us back to Christ as our true direction and greatest treasure.

We are deeply grateful to brother Deo Azul of Gideon International for the Bible he generously shared with us. Through this gift, he inspired us to boldly share the Gospel with the people around us—even with strangers—and to take every opportunity to proclaim God’s Word.

As reminded in Hebrews 4:12, “For the word of God is alive and active…” God’s Word never returns empty; it works powerfully in the hearts of those who hear and receive it. May this Bible continue to lead, transform, and strengthen everyone it reaches as we live out servant leadership and faith in action.

The second day was filled with team-building activities that brought out the creativity, strategy, camaraderie, unity, and leadership skills of each camper. It was a tiring yet fun and purpose-filled day—one that will always be remembered.

Each activity carried a deeper meaning, connecting every task to real-life challenges and teaching how we should respond as servant leaders. Campers learned that even difficult circumstances can be opportunities to glorify God, and that while our situations may change, God’s character never does.
