PUBLIC ADVISORY | PRO 11 Reminds Public on Anti-Illegal Gambling Under RA 9287

The Police Regional Office 11 (PRO 11) reiterates its commitment to enforcing laws against illegal gambling activities in line with Republic Act No. 9287 —"An Act Increasing the Penalties for Illegal Number Games, Amending Certain Provisions of Presidential Decree No. 1602, and for Other Purposes."

RA 9287 imposes stricter penalties on individuals and groups involved in illegal number games and other forms of unauthorized gambling.

PRO 11 urges the public to refrain from participating in any form of illegal gambling and to report suspicious activities to the nearest police station.
