Today, at the Municipal Plaza, the Gaylas Association witnessed one of its most cherished traditionsβ€”a ceremony that symbolizes not only the passing of a crown, but the passing of trust, responsibility, hope, and the unwavering commitment to serve our LGBTQIA+ community.

With deep gratitude and sincere appreciation, we honor our outgoing President, Miss Sheila Rocero, for her remarkable leadership, dedication, and selfless service. Through your strength, compassion, and determination, you have inspired many and helped the Gaylas Association grow into a stronger and more united family. Your legacy will forever be part of our history. Thank you for leading with your heart.

As the ceremonial crown, the official Gaylas Association logo, and the rainbow flag were respectfully entrusted to our new leader, we proudly welcome Miss Summer Johnson as the President of the Gaylas Association for 2026–2027.

Today, we proudly recognized the outstanding groups and individuals through the awarding of prizes and the presentation of certificates of appreciation in recognition of their enthusiasm, energy, and support for our advocacy.

Thank you to all the Zumba groups, participants, supporters, and allies who joined us and contributed to the success of this meaningful event. Your participation and generosity help strengthen our Balik Eskwela Project, which aims to provide school supplies to deserving students in our community.
