What is Pax Te Cum?
The veneration of the image of the Baby Jesus, traditionally called “Pax Tecum” (Latin for “Peace be with you”), is one of the popular Christmas traditions in the locality which Jesus comes to your homes and bring peace to everyone at home.
As we celebrate the season of Christmas, we are reminded of the profound meaning of Christ’s birth, a testament to love, sharing, and joy. It is a time to reflect on God’s enduring presence among us, as He became man to fulfill what was written in the Scriptures.
In line with this, on December 28-29, 2024, from 7:00 leading by our Altar Servers of Sto. Niño Chapel of Brgy. Naulo, Sta. Cruz, Zambales, will be conducting a Pax Tecum or the veneration of the Child Jesus. They will visit your homes, bringing the Sto. Niño or the Child Jesus, to lead prayers and blessings for you and your family members.
We humbly pray for your warm and loving reception during this sacred visit, and we hope that the presence of the Child Jesus will fill your home with abundant grace, bringing happiness, peace, and unity to your family.
Thank you and may you have a truly blessed and joyful Christmas season!
