ALPHA “ACHIEVERS” COMPANY, 39TH INFANTRY “SMASH ’EM” BATTALION, SUCCESSFULLY CONDUCTED AN OUTREACH PROGRAM AIMED AT BRINGING HOPE, JOY, AND SUPPORT TO CHILDREN AND FARMERS THROUGH MEANINGFUL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES.

Sta Cruz, Davao Del Sur– May 09, 2026 — Alpha Company, 39th Infantry (SMASH’EM) Battalion, in partnership with LGU Sta Cruz, Davao Del Sur, Youth for Peace Movement TALBOS- Sta Cruz, Davao Del Sur Chapter, Caring Hearts a Non-Profit Organization and Prime Xynergies Food Corporation conducted PROJECT AMBAG “Aksyon na Matinud-anon Bisan gamay Apan Gasa” at Sitio Garuk, Brgy Sibulan, Sta Cruz, Davao Del Sur.

The activity brought joy and hope to the young learners through the distribution of school supplies and the conduct of fun-filled games that encouraged camaraderie, confidence, and happiness among the children. At the same time, food packs and farming tools were provided to the members of Garuk Multi-Sectoral Farmer’s Association (GAMSFA) to support their livelihood and contribute to the improvement of agricultural productivity within the area.

The outreach program highlighted the importance of collaboration between the military, youth organizations, and private stakeholders in building peaceful, resilient, and progressive communities. More than the assistance provided, the activity strengthened the spirit of volunteerism, solidarity, and shared responsibility toward nation-building and community development.

On May 9, 2026, Project AMBAG (Aksyon Matinud-anon bisan Gamay Apan Gasa) was successfully conducted at Sitio Garuk, Brgy. Sibulan, Santa Cruz, Davao del Sur. The outreach program aimed to extend not only assistance and donations, but also love, hope, unity, and compassion to the community.

The success of Project AMBAG was made possible through the collective efforts of volunteers, private entities, and everyone behind the event who generously shared their time, resources, and dedication. Special thanks are extended to LGU Santa Cruz, Prime Xynergies Caring Hearts Youth for Peace Movement - Davao del Sur Local Youth Development Office - Sta. Cruz Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, Municipal Health Office, Municipal Agriculture Office and Alpha Company, 39th Infantry “Smash’Em” Battalion for their valuable support and commitment to the advocacy.

Heartfelt appreciation is also extended to the residents of Sitio Garuk for their warm welcome, active participation, and presence during the event.

May this initiative continue to inspire everyone to help, care, and share hope with others.

The Youth for Peace Movement–TALBOS Santa Cruz Chapter is once again opening our hearts to serve and reach out to communities in need through our upcoming Community Outreach Program at Sitio Garuk, Barangay Sibulan Cluster 2, Santa Cruz, Davao del Sur.

With this, we are humbly knocking on your kind hearts to ask for donations that can help bring joy, hope, and comfort to children and families who need our support. A simple act of kindness can already create a big difference in someone’s life. Your small donation may be ordinary to you, but for them, it can become a source of happiness, encouragement, and hope.

A special meeting was held yesterday, May 3, 2026, for the preparation of Project Tumaddú Year 4 and the Youth Leadership Summit. The meeting was successfully coordinated with the organization’s prime partner, the 39th Infantry Battalion.

This collaboration marks another step forward in strengthening unity, leadership, and community engagement among the youth. With shared goals and dedicated teamwork, we look forward to creating meaningful impact and fostering a stronger, more resilient community.

The Supreme Student Council launches 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗦𝗦𝗖), a student-led initiative that will bring meaningful programs promoting health, education, nutrition, and environmental stewardship beyond the borders of 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 (𝗗𝗦𝗦𝗖).

Under 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐈𝐆𝐋𝐀, this initiative will reinforce the SSC’s commitment to service, solidarity, and active community engagement.

Initiated by Hon. ‎On December 28, 2025, the Youth For Peace Movement – Santa Cruz gathered at Tuban Beach for the annual Year-End Evaluation and Christmas Party. The program opened with a heartfelt welcome from our President Samuelo Enoch, followed by the presentation of the Liquidation Report prepared by Cristian Calarion, former Auditor, together with our Treasurer Ma’am Emalyn Abera, LPT. This was succeeded by an Open Forum/Post Evaluation on the implementation of Project Tumaddú, paving the way for improvement and strengthening future initiatives. A special highlight was the inspiring message delivered by our Former Deputy Secretary, who reminded members of the importance of unity, service, and carrying forward the mission of peace.

‎The celebration continued with parlor games and activities that brought joy, strengthened teamwork, and showcased the energy of our active youth volunteers. With deep gratitude, the organization extends thanks to all members and volunteers who gave their time and presence. Truly, the spirit of Panagtapok ug Pakighimamat lives on—more united, more impactful, and more committed to building a culture of peace and service in the years ahead. 💚✨
