A combined force for the benifit of our coastal environment as the Philippine Coastguard Sta. Cruz Sub-station, sir Roy Barayuga as lead agency conducted a clean-up drive along the coastline of Barangay Zone III in sta. Cruz, Davao del sur with partners from the national agencies PNP Sta.Cruz Municipal Police Station, Bureu Of Fire Protection, Sta. Cruz Fire Station, ENRMD, Bantay Dagat, BDRRMC Darong and ECHO Cares.These agencies are dedicated to preserving natural resources and preventing coastal flooding by implementing measures to mitigate the impact of high sea water levels during high tides, thereby protecting vulnerable coastal communities and ecosystems.

A 3-day Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support training was held at Astorga Central Elementary School Multipurpose Gym from April 10-12, 2026.

To LDRRMO - we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office under the Leadership of Hon. Jose Nelson Z. Sala Sr under the supervission of LDRRMO III Sir Romulo Z. Birondo RN,MBA, Ellan Jahara Manto, RN and all the Training team Franz Badilla Training Director, Love Charmaine CaΓ±on, Jeffrey Salise, Mitch Manuel, Janrick Gavilan ,we really appreciate you all,and all the others for sharing their skills, knowledge, and wisdom with our incoming team, who will be a force multiplier in the coming days.

To the School Principal of Astorga Central Elementary School, Ma'am Hazel Lecias, we are grateful for allowing us to use the school premises and multipurpose gym. Please be assured that we will maintain the beauty and order of the school premises, as we are conscious of the importance of preserving the cleanliness and order of our beloved alma mater. This training is design for volunteers as force multiflier for any untoward incidents within thier own family, community and as a responsible citizens. The training is FREE of Charge No Fees shall be collected but for their personnal consumption.
