Last November 16, the DOST-SSG won 3rd Place at the Gawad Parangal 2025 with the theme: “𝙋𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙠𝙖-𝙉𝙖𝙢𝙪𝙢𝙪𝙠𝙤𝙙-𝙏𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙊𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙨𝙮𝙤𝙣 𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙜𝙖 𝙈𝙖𝙜-𝙖𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙡!”

On November 16, 2025, DOST-SSG proudly showcased the scholar-leader spirit as the organization participated in this year’s club launching with the theme:
“𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙞𝘾𝙇𝙐𝘽𝙖𝙣: 𝙈𝙖𝙜𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙞𝘾𝙇𝙐𝘽 𝙖𝙩 𝙇𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙣 — 𝙄𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙎𝙋𝙐 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩.” The event was filled with energy, purpose, and the shared passion to uplift the LSPU community. 💙✨

Last October 31, the 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 - 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 (𝗗𝗢𝗦𝗧-𝗦𝗘𝗜) announced 958 new 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗲𝘀 out of 14,609 applicants. Among those were 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 from Laguna State Polytechnic University - Sta. Cruz Campus.
