Success is sweeter when achieved together! โจ
The Pag-asa Youth Association of Sinoron successfully conducted Project Tahak 2026: A Clean-Up Drive and Hiking Activity at Mt. Dinor, bringing together young volunteers, community leaders, and partner organizations in a shared commitment to environmental protection and responsible outdoor recreation.
This meaningful initiative was made possible through the invaluable support and collaboration of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), the PYAP Santa Cruz Federation, Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Sinoron, and the PYAP Presidents of Barangays Astorga, Barangay Coronon, and Barangay Saliducon. Their dedication and partnership greatly contributed to the success of the activity and strengthened the spirit of volunteerism among the youth.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to all participants from the Pag-asa Youth Association of Sinoron who devoted their time, energy, and enthusiasm to help preserve the natural beauty of Mt. Dinor. Through collective action, we demonstrated that caring for the environment is a responsibility shared by everyone.
More than a hiking activity, Project Tahak 2026 served as a reminder that every step we take can contribute to a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future. By promoting environmental awareness and encouraging active community participation, the activity inspired young people to become stewards of nature and advocates for positive change.
Together, we continue to prove that when communities unite for a common purpose, meaningful impact follows.
This activity supports the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
๐ฑ SDG 13 โ Climate Action by encouraging environmental awareness and community action for a sustainable future.
๐ฑ SDG 15 โ Life on Land: Conserving natural ecosystems, protecting biodiversity, and maintaining the beauty of our mountain trails.
