Laguna University Job Fair 2025 Connects Graduates to Employment Opportunities
June 12, 2025 | Laguna Sports Complex – In a significant step toward bridging education and employment, Laguna University (LU) successfully hosted its second annual Job Fair 2025 on June 10, 2025, at the Laguna Sports Complex Gymnasium. The event, organized by the university’s Placement, Alumni, and Linkages Office (PALO), marked another milestone as LU solidified its role as the first DOLE-accredited university-based Job Placement Office in Laguna.
Strong Industry Participation, Immediate Hiring
Thirteen (13) private companies and two (2) government agencies participated, offering a wide range of career opportunities to LU graduates and alumni. Out of 72 registered job seekers, 13 were hired on the spot, while 4 applicants were shortlisted for final interviews and 62 were scheduled for further screening.
Hands-On Experience for Future Professionals
Beyond job placements, the fair provided students with real-world interview experience, resume coaching, and direct engagement with recruiters—preparing them for the competitive job market.
Collaborative Effort for Student Success
The event was made possible through partnerships with:
• DOLE Provincial Office & Provincial PESO (co-organizers)
• LU Alumni Association Inc. (LU-AAI) (lunch sponsor)
• Provincial Nutrition Action Office (Nutribun snacks)
• LU DOLE-GIP interns, CESU, and OSAS (logistics & support)
With its DOLE accreditation, LU is poised to host more job fairs and career development programs, reinforcing its mission to produce job-ready graduates and contribute to Laguna’s economic growth.
