"Ezra opened the book. All the people could see him because he was standing above them; and as he opened it, the people all stood up. We praise God for your life and for sharing how we can honor God's word! 🙌🏻

What Ezra and the Israelites did are examples on how we can exalt God's word and give reverence to it in our lives.

We are to study it and apply the principles we see by living it out. As we get transformed, we will also develop the desire to share it with others.

Lastly, as the world gets darker, God's word is our guiding light ❤️

We also praise God for the lives of the May birthday celebrants, Ajay and Daniella 🥳

HONOR GOD

Thank you for sharing what you've learned from the recent Youth Camp about honoring God 🙏🏻

Honoring God means respecting, loving, and revering Him in our words, actions, thoughts, and choices.

When we say we honor God, it is displayed in our obedience to His words which requires dedication and discipline.

God is honored when we desire His will and do it with delight.

Our lives demonstrate that we honor God when we serve with compassion and selflessness, not counting ourselves higher than others.

Praying for a generation that seeks to honor God in everything they do and bring glory to His name! Amen ❤️

When God Seems Silent
Isaiah 64:12

There are moments in our life when we feel as if God is silent--most times when we're in difficult circumstances.

Even Prophet Isaiah, who had heavenly visions and prophesied about the Messiah had similar experience.

This afternoon, we learned that God has a purpose for everything. Our response when God seems silent is to examine our hearts for any sin that might be blocking us from hearing God, make time to read, study, and meditate on God's words to be familiar with His voice, and devote ourselves in prayer instead of doubting Him.

Praise and thanks be to God for another meaningful fellowship!

We're back! How wonderful and joyful it is to worship God with fellow young people 🥳🥰

As we approach the Holy Week, we discussed the events from passion week and what we can learn from them.

From the people's response to Jesus in His triumphal entry in Jerusalem (Mark 11) and Mary anointing Jesus with expensive perfume (Mark 14), we saw the importance of understanding and obeying God's word.

Right understanding of God's word leads us to proper knowledge of who Jesus is, obeying in whatever situation, and proper worship of Him whatever it costs.

All glory and honor to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! 🙌🏻❤️

Paul's introduction in his letter to the Galatians (1:1-5) taught us three things:
-No sinner is beyond God's grace, forgiveness, and transformation, just like him.
-Salvation is in Jesus Christ alone who died for our sins to be reconciled with the Father, He was buried, and was raised again after 3 days.
-Accepting this truth demands response: to praise Him forever and ever.

PPHC Matic-Matic Young People Love Month Celebration | February 16, 2025

“This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.” 1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God loved us first, and He demonstrated His great love for us by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins so that we will be reconciled to Him.

Responding to God's love involves living in His love, loving Him with all your heart, and loving others as yourself. By remaining in His Word, prioritizing God in your life, and showing kindness to others, we reflect His love in our actions and relationships.

Praise God for a meaningful and fun-filled celebration of His love this month of February ❤️

Youth Fellowship | February 9, 2025

Today we learned 3 important things from Jesus' and Peter's conversation in John 21:15-17:
-The Lord wants to rebuild our relationship
-The Lord confronts us of our sins because He want to restore us
-Loving Jesus means loving and serving others continually

Praise God for another wonderful fellowship this afternoon ❤️

May we continually seek deeper relationship with God.

Remember: He's not waiting for you to be perfect. He already knows we're going to fail Him at times. Come boldly to the throne of grace where we can find mercy when we need it 🙏🏻🫶
