Meet Jeric, 1st Runner Up, as he shares his pageant journey, inspirations, and message to those who dream of stepping onto the stage.
Kapilan ka mig start king modeling o pageantry?
I started when I was in high school because there was a certain event in our school, and my teachers decided to let me compete in Mister and Miss Intramurals. That was my first time, and thanks to God, even though it was my first time, I won 1st runner-up. If you won in the Intramurals, you would compete at Cluster IV to represent the school. But the grand winner that time was too young, so our teachers decided that I would be the one to compete at Cluster IV. That was the second time I joined a pageant, and luckily, I became the Grand Winner.
Atin ba mighijayat keka?
Yes, Sir Glen pushed me to join pageants. He was my advisor when I was in Grade 11. I think he saw my potential in pageantry, and he knew that I was an introvert who was scared to speak and face many people. But he encouraged me to leave my comfort zone face my fears and teach me how to be strong.

Iโm currently studying at Holy Cross College as a 1st year college student. Iโm now waiting for the second semester to finish so I can complete my 1st year. It has been a new experience for me, and Iโm happy to continue learning and growing in college.
Ninu ninu ding inspirasyun mu king pamakyabeng pageant?
My inspiration for joining pageantry is my family. I want to make them proud and also grow personally. Before, I was so shy and didnโt have the courage to show up in front of so many people, but I learned how to face my fears and leave my comfort zone. Then I realized I want to put myself in situations that will make me a better version of myself. Thatโs why Iโm interested in pageantry. As someone who was weak and voiceless before, Iโm no longer the old Jeric. Now, Iโm the Jeric who fights for what I want and always ready to fulfill my duties.

My personal message for aspiring pageant contestants is to make sure youโre ready to take on the responsibility because I believe that when you join a pageant, you know your purpose. I believe pageantry is not all about the poise and looks it is a stage for the heart, mind, and mission. A true winner do not just wear a crown they use it to serve. It is where beauty meets purpose and turns dreams into service.

I would like to thank my family first because they are the reason why I joined pageantry. They have always been my number one supporters. They always believe in me and encourage me to do my best. Win or lose, they are always proud of me. I am truly grateful to have them by my side throughout this journey.
And to my incredible team, I want to express my deepest gratitude for always standing behind me and supporting me every step of the way. To kuya Kerwin and kuya Steven, thank you for your unwavering encouragement, your trust in me, and for constantly reminding me that I am capable of achieving more than I ever imagined. Having people like you in my corner gave me the strength to keep going, even during the moments when I doubted myself.
To my amazing glam team, Kuya Jerome and Jamiel, thank you for making me feel so handsome and confident that night. Your talent, dedication, and care went far beyond simply helping me look my best you helped me believe in myself. Every time you reminded me to stand tall and own the stage, you boosted not only my appearance but also my confidence, and for that I will always be grateful.
To my Q&A trainer, Sir Raniel, thank you for believing in me even during the times when I struggled to believe in myself. Your patience, guidance, and constant encouragement taught me that confidence is built through preparation, perseverance, and faith. Because of you, I came to realize that I have the power to be the voice for myself to speak with purpose, authenticity, and courage. That lesson is something I will carry with me long after.
Thank you, Casa Apu, and to the late Sir Allen, for always pushing me to fight, believe in myself, and keep moving forward. Your words, guidance, and encouragement have inspired me to become stronger and never give up, even when things get difficult. I will always be grateful for the lessons and memories that continue to motivate me every day. Sir Allen, your legacy and belief in me will always hold a special place in my heart. I will carry your encouragement with me as I strive to become the best version of myself.
To each and every one of you, thank you for being part of this journey. This moment is not mine alone it is a reflection of the love, support, and belief that you have all poured into me.
