The month of May is also the time for the Santacruzan. The St. Vincent Ferrer Parish held its Santacruzan last Sunday, May 24, 2026, consisting of different young ladies who presented different titles—biblical figures, historical women, and various titles of the Virgin Mary, embody the virtues, history, and grace. Escorted by young gentlemen, friends, and families, from the community, these sagalas paraded through the streets with elegance and devotion, carrying symbols of faith that date back centuries. The colorful Santacruzan not only honored our beautiful Catholic traditions but also showcased the vibrant spirit and active participation of the community in keeping the faith alive.

​Before heading to Diocesan Youth Day, our delegates gathered for a special Send-off Mass led by Fr. Arnel Cabangunay, Sch.P. His words reminded us that being starts with a heart ready to serve and a spirit willing to listen. We carry the prayers of the St. Vincent Ferrer Parish community with us as we embark on this journey! 🕊️❤️

This journey is all about being —living witnesses of the Gospel in our modern world. 🌍🙏​Please keep our delegates in your prayers as they encounter Christ in a powerful way this upcoming DYD. We aren't just here to attend an event; we’re here to be witnesses of His love! Let’s go, SVFP! 🙌✨

What a blessing to witness the entire San Vicente community come together in such a vibrant display of faith! 🕊️Today’s feast of our patron, St. Vincent Ferrer, was truly elevated as led by the Piarist Father and the different organizations of the parish, and the mass was presided over by our Bishop Herman Abcede, RCJ, D.D., and the clergy of the Diocese of Daet. Seeing our shepherds and the laity united in prayer and celebration reminds us of the strength found in our Catholic communion.

From the solemn liturgy to the joyful faces of every devotee, the spirit of St. Vincent is alive and well in our hearts! 🕯️🙏

This Holy Thursday, we witness the ultimate gift of love—the institution of the Holy Eucharist. 🍞🍷

Following the Mass of the Lord's Supper, we accompanied our Lord to the Altar of Repose, keeping watch in prayer. In the washing of the feet and the breaking of the bread, we find the strength to walk our own path of faith.

May we carry the spirit of Christ’s humility in our hearts as we enter the Triduum.
