Colors of Aningalan Art Fest: Highlights from the April 25, 2025 Opening Program
The first-ever Aningalan Art Fest, organized by the Hayahay sa Ambon Association — a collective of local business owners — officially opened on April 25, 2025. The program began with opening remarks from Association President Dr. Robler Pechueco and Vice President Hygia Villavert, who first proposed the idea for the festival.
The program featured inspiring messages from Ma’am Ruth of MENRO LGU San Remigio and Director Manie Magbanua of the Write, Shoot, Cut, Play workshop, who both emphasized the importance of art, storytelling, and environmental stewardship in community building.
Guests were serenaded by Mr. Sammy Rubido and Mr. Dante Beriong, whose performances added a heartfelt touch to the celebration. The event also marked the opening of Lilaw, an exhibit by the RAHMAG Visual Arts Group.
Special thanks to Kap Roda Vallente, Kagawad Mission, and SK Chairman Mark Ian Jardin for their generous support and for providing the Brgy. Aningalan Gym as our venue. We would also like to thank Mr. Shao Sadio of Baka Naman for providing food during lunch.
