PRIDE MONTH CELEBRATION 2026 | PART 1: MORNING ACTIVITIES 🌈

What an incredible way to celebrate Pride Month!

The San Rafael Gay Association, in partnership with the Local Government Unit of San Rafael, successfully concluded the first part of our Pride Month Celebration with meaningful, educational, and fun-filled activities.

The celebration began with a vibrant Pride Parade, followed by an informative HIV Awareness Symposium conducted by the dedicated representatives of RKD Iloilo, with the invaluable support and presence of the Rural Health Unit (RHU) of San Rafael. Participants also had the opportunity to avail of Free HIV Testing, reinforcing the importance of HIV awareness, prevention, and knowing one's status while helping break the stigma surrounding HIV.

Our young members also participated in Skills Training on Hair & Makeup and Haircutting, equipping them with practical skills that can create opportunities for livelihood and personal growth.

To end the morning on a high note, everyone enjoyed exciting team-building activities through the Giant Volleyball Game and the fun-filled Longest Line Challenge, promoting teamwork, friendship, and community spirit.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Local Government Unit of San Rafael, the Rural Health Unit of San Rafael, RKD Iloilo, our facilitators, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who joined us in making this celebration meaningful and successful.

Together, we celebrate diversity, promote awareness, empower our community, and continue to stand proudly for equality.
