Protection and relief in the aftermath of the storm. 🌧️🛡️

A massive thank you to IPI- Dr. S. Wong Sulfur Soap for partnering with us for our Habagat Relief Ops.

Dealing with evacuation is hard enough, but the itchy and painful skin diseases that follow floods make it so much worse. Thank you for giving affected families the gift of clean, protected skin and the peace of mind that comes with preventing infections.

Days of relentless Habagat rains have submerged communities across San Pedro, Laguna, forcing hundreds of families out of their homes and into evacuation centers.

While oil prices soar, our drivers are left running on empty.

Since this worldwide oil crisis began, it is always our jeepney and all PUV drivers who suffer the most. It breaks our hearts to know that an ordinary day’s income (which should buy food for their children) now goes straight into the fuel tank just to keep their wheels turning.

Their plea for a decent life must be heard. Our drivers are the backbone of our daily commute, and the government must step up to support their livelihoods during this national emergency.

Last week, Project Kapwa held a relief drive to provide a little aid for PUV drivers. As a humanitarian group, we will never stop standing by those on the margins. You are not alone in this fight.

Ramdam namin ang hapdi ng bawat patak ng pawis ninyo na sana ay pambili ng bigas at pambaon ng inyong mga anak, ngunit napupunta lamang sa krudo at utang. Kayo ang haligi ng ating lansangan, at hindi kailanman sapat ang salitang "salamat" sa sakripisyong ibinibigay ninyo para sa bawat Pilipino.

Alam naming hindi lang krudo ang nauubos sa inyo, kundi pati ang inyong lakas, pasensya, at kung minsan, ang mismong pag-asa.

Ang kalsada ay para sa lahat. Marapat na pakinggan ang kanilang daing, pondohan ang kanilang kabuhayan, at tiyaking walang pamilyang maiiwan sa laylayan habang tayo ay sumusulong.
